It's been so painful Rael is lashing on him because she doesn't want to love him. I pity him so much but things look bad and if something happen to him, Rael won't be happy either :( I wish this drama could have a happy ending so bad

I don't have the source if I find I'll post. It was an interview, he was asked if he was easily swayed by public opinion in his stories. He said that Babi was supposed to be only a support character but audiences liked him so much he had to keep him around. But then he got rebellious and got rid of Babi, he was too perfect and to the author this wasn't interesting. First time he tried was when he almost killed Babi, but everyone loved him to much, so the author created the "cheat" storyline. People started to hate Babi from that moment, the fans became the anti.

If we analyze the webtoon is clear that the author never gave Babi much time along with Yumi as he did with Woong and we saw too little of his cells. He and Yumi had a very nice relationship with no big troubles that were quickly resolved, why would Yumi break up with him and not forgive him when she first saw one flaw? The author gave so many chances to Woong and let him even be Yumi friend in the end, but Babi is paint as someone she regreted to date when he was the one who most supported her dreams and help her build self-esteem.

I think people here don't like sex scenes? There was only 2 and were very tasteful and yet people are hating...

It makes me so mad that people keep talking badly about Babi when he always tried to give his best to Yumi. Sadly in the webtoon the author didn't let them have a happy ending.

Maybe her list will show later, but it was more of a way for us to understand how Woong mind worked and Babi is very much different person.

It hurts to think that Yumi might not give to Babi the same infinity trust he gave her on Christmas and break up with him over a misjudgment of his kindness. If in the end everything will be fixed, then I could forgive, but if not I'll be very mad. Why make them such a good and healthy couple if only to break up and left us with a "good guys doesn't exist"?

I understand this and feel very much for him. Even here are full of people judging Babi kindness. I really wish this will be explained better in the drama but Jinyoung didn't confirmed.

In the webtoon all of this is explained. He has a cell called overreacting and that makes him a really good person, always thinking about others. So much that people misunderstand him as someone over the top or that care too much. So he tries to hide that for most people, only to Yumi he let himself go a little. There's a really nice chapter that his ex talk about their relationship and she says that feels very sorry because he was always supporting her dreams and left him alone. That breaks my heart, this relationship made him more guarded and couldn't give his all to Yumi afraid she would left him too. And Yumi really left him without thinking twice when he showed one weakness (I blame the webtoon author if he didn't hated Babi this could've been easily work out).

In the drama so far that cell didn't show up nor his detective cell, only his love cell, emotional and rational. That makes me think his love cell is the main one, he is always making the final decisions. Also, they mixed Babi with Soonrok and sr main cell was love. It's a little early to say but Drama Babi probability won't have the same insecurity from the webtoon so whatever misjudgment that maybe will break them up won't be the same. I for one, in love with this character he's what we should want for a relationship, a guy that talk about feelings and work to make things right. I wish the drama wouldn't break them up only to create more story. With Soonrok in the webtoon it was pretty easy he was perfect and Yumi and him had no troubles. Why can't the drama be like that?

He's not a red flag? People are so distracted about the webtoon misjudgments that don't see that in the drama they gave to Babi most Soonrok scenes. If Babi is a red flag what makes Soonrok then. I hope the drama won't make some stupid choice only to make Babi look bad, so far in the little moments we had with his cells we can see his sincerity. After that Christmas scene can you say he was scheming? Whatever they gonna pull they must do something totally different from the webtoon there's no way this Babi could hurt Yumi on porpoise.

Now getting back to the webtoon Babi never cheat on Yumi, he thought another girl was cute and didn't lie to Yumi. Yumi was the one who choose to break up because she's insecure and in that time Babi never contacted Daeun. Real relationships go through things like this all the time, it's normal people think other attractive that's not cheat unless you continue to think and act on impulse. Before this, Yumi and Babi had a pretty nice relationship with both being supportive of each other dreams. Also the autor from the webtoon didn't liked Babi, he was too perfect so it was boring to him, you can google the interview. I'm so tired writers who don't like good guys and ruin the character for the sake of drama.

I'm very hopeful that this will be the misunderstanding they keep mentioning. Urgh I hate so much he have to be so anxious about this at this point. They look so happy and matured, why they needed to put this useless plot everybody hated? And yes I watched Hello me, it's one of my favorites dramas it was so heartwarming <3

Yeah I feel this too! Sadly they're showing so little of his cells, people can't keep up with what his feeling or thinking. Maybe because Jinyoung is doing a great job portraying Babi sincerity they thought it was enough idk. I just feel hes one of these really good people who's always supporting other and it's left behind when the other move on. I hope they'll show more of him until the end

He doesn't cheat in the webtoon tho

I'd be screaming and crying if I was Babi lol. His actions shows how much he loves her and it's willing to make them work. It needs much maturity and faith in your loved one to not feel insecure

I don't think Yumi should feel blame for not knowing Woong situation, he constantly lied and hide things from her. How would she evn know? And she tried so many times to help and have a conversation about future. Woong was the only one to blame on this one :(

I felt they dragged too much, I won't skip but I still didn't watched because of it :/

I don't think she'll be his sister but maybe the character yunhee from the webtoon. He was also a coworker with a crush on Babi but she has her happy ending with Yumi's boss... Crossing fingers that I'm correct about that I don't wanna see them break up

I read the webtoon and even there I felt this too. I hope the drama will fix that and show Yumi maturing and stop being insecure. So far her relationship with Babi has been good but it feels that only him is supporting the hardships. They're so good together since they combine Babi with Soonrok, if the drama follow the webtoon the story will only downhill from here

Oh I see! I wish they didn't make Rael and Eun pyeong a romantic thing. I see them more of brotherly relationship... But who knows
