I just rewatched some of the details in EP1 when LBY and CSS met. I thought it was very well done. There was more tension/intrigue in the faceless meeting than if they had met openly.

These extra family people are not in the main storyline but you will to wait for them to disappear ... probably after episode 10 up.

Yes, her brothers are very nice to her. There's one that chaperones her.

No one should be limited to their expectations and praise of any drama, especially if the praise is not offending anyone. However, name calling like "trash" should be taken out as it is offensive to others. You have to realize there are some fans here who have been waiting for this drama for a long time so they should be allowed to post what they want to say.

I myself expecting something different from watching so many C-dramas. I don't think it will change in vibes though ... you can watch the previews ... it has similar vibes. I think the script can be improved, but it is what it is.

It's not a waste ... depending on taste. If you like war and politics, this drama will have some but may not be as much as you expect. There will be some political things, but they are backdrops of the development of the female lead's character. After all, she has 3 suitors ... so you can tell already that it's going to be a romantic drama.

Yep, the mother herself will go through a character development. When CSS develops relationship with another more nurturing female, she feels left-out.

I think there will be a lot of women in this drama. It might not be for you if you don't like female bickering.

It seems like the rest of the drama is following this tone with very minor changes to add more screen time for the ML.

It's the order of things ... they just change the order. They also changed the lantern meeting to make it more dramatic. So the meetings are in this order in the novel: 1) lantern 2) rescue 3) the horse after she became engaged. It seems that in the drama, the sequence is: 1) the hand 2) the lantern festival 3) the horse scene 4) the rescue.

I don't expect rating for this drama to be high because it's not fitting the mold of regular C-Drama. It's about taste so it may not match the popular taste. The rating is done by 1 person so I would not trust it.

I put in a rating after the first 4 episodes but some how my rating doesn't count?

She is not the typical mother ... that is why she will regret later on when another motherly figures takes over the education of CSS.
