Aside from Prince Bland, Cui Wan, Princess of Xihe, is one of the most ridiculous characters of the drama and really pissing me off. How in the world did she manage to find out confidential info and run on to an active battlefield?!? I know it’s supposed to make her sympathetic to the audience because she took a poison dart for Xu Jin, but it wouldn’t even be necessary if she hadn’t run head first into a situation she had no place to be at and distracted him! He pretty much had the situation wrapped up until she barged in and ruin everything, needlessly putting other people’s lives in danger from Xu Jin to Wu Bai Qi who wouldn’t be stabbed if she had not created a situation for the dude to escape!!!!! It’s supposed to create conflict and drama between the main couple because like how did Fu Rong not know Xu Jin was in trouble but Cui Wan did and for Fu Rong to see that Cui Wan does care for Xu Jin, but it does the opposite because now I hate the character even more!!

Title Tunnel Spoiler
Very dislikable male lead character I am at Episode 4 the ML is cold, rude, Inconsiderate, badmouthing Jerk .…
Actually that's not true. His wife is always in his mind. If you're at episode 4, then how could you know think the scene in episode 2 when he was running back and forth through the tunnel that magically transported him to 2016, calling out his wife's name over and over again, hoping this time, his run would work and he'd be able to go back home not heartbreaking. Just the pain! And Yeon Suk, on one of the runs, heard him calling her name but unable to see him anywhere. And once he realized he's stuck, believed that if he could just catch the killer he's after he'd be able to go home to his wife. There are so many flashback scenes and moments where he's just thinking about her constantly in between the plot, when he went back to their old house, to the Chinese restaurant, to the river cruise that he'd promised to take her for her birthday, in his dreams. Plus he asked Seong Sik to look for her in 2016 and consistently asked if he found her yet. And when he found out what happened to her and their daughter, ugh all the tears and he once again blames himself for disappearing.
