Yeah. To feel and live the story as if one is a part of it. Tbh, I find that tagline a bit corny. It could've been expressed in a creative way according to the story to give the old idea a fresher look with added depth. I'm assuming it's a slow-burn since you mentioned it's a layered story with minimal romance which I also love. I love how each of your reply made me more curious about it. Thank you, that's so sweet of you. Sending you back many more!!
It was nice to know that you remembered about my like and preference and not just that but coming across a drama exactly like that made you wanna recommend it to me. I find this childish about me but the relationship between stories and me has always been way more than just having a good time so I'm very picky about them and somehow I always end up choosing and liking a story which ends up in the worst possible heartbreak for me to ever recover from which makes me appreciate little peeks like these cause they help me brace for the impact. And yeah also don't worry about hitting me up for whatever the cause. My secret indulgence is having discussions with opposing views but also cause they're a great way to know about different perspectives and they help to get to know a person better. J-dramas are of shorter length and of greater quality especially in how well they execute scenes surrounding around emotional complexity which I live for in the stories. There's no other way to describe it other than RAW. So I highly doubt I would drop it even if the pilot episode doesn't catch my eye. I appreciate your recommendation.
Thanks for the update! I don't mind waiting for subs in general but I do get a little impatient when it comes to final episodes cause a faster conclusion helps soften the blow if the ending isn't what I hoped for especially in the case of noona romance cause one can never guess how it might end.
Honestly, it’s exhausting to watch how ML went from Prince Charming to stage-five clinger real quick. How many times does the FL have to say it’s not happening before it sinks in? Being the ML doesn’t give him a free pass to trample FL's boundaries. What’s worse is how out of character it is to see a suave ML suddenly forgetting the meaning of ‘no’? It feels like the writer’s muse took a vacation leaving me with character regression instead of the charm I signed up for.
I'm mainly tuning in for Seong Jae and his delightfully dysfunctional family. I'm morbidly curious to see how he navigates that minefield and achieves some semblance of closure. Apparently, I have a type, because I'm also watching 'My Golden Life' by the same writer, and it's like déjà vu all over again: a downtrodden family with the eldest son playing the martyr. Two brothers and one sister, check. They even recycled Cheon Ho-jin. Honestly, the birth secret trope is wearing thin. So, unless Seong Jae's family shenanigans suddenly involve ninjas or time travel, they are pretty much the only thing keeping me from hitting the eject button.
I think it's because they clearly are having brother sister dynamic for all these years
Yeah. I am hoping for this pairing to get explored, as it could introduce a compelling element of forbidden tension that I would wholeheartedly welcome.
ML’s younger sister wants a wealthy partner, yet she overlooks SML right beside her who fits the bill not only in wealth but in kindness and looks as well. While his troubled past might clash with her sheltered world, there's potential for an interesting dynamic between them.
