I enjoyed seeing Boss and Noeul on screen together again, however the show did not surpass LITA for me nor did I expect it to. The NC scenes were top-tier, but I just wish the script was a little stronger. With better pacing and tension in the writing, and maybe longer/more episodes I think this could have been a stronger series imo. Also, even though I felt that the acting was not the strongest during the emotional scenes, I think there is potential to improve.
That being said, I am curious to see what MAME plans to adapt next and what BN's future roles will be . I thought Boss did really well in that short fighting scene, so I would love to see him in a action/crime/thriller/romance role with a whole a lot of angst.
Besides Happy Ending, this is probably my most anticipated BL for next year mostly because of Boss. Love him as an actor and the energy that he brings ❤️. I can't wait to watch, but I'm going to have to wait a bit. I prefer to binge watch my shows...though, I have a feeling the wait will be worth it. I love a thriller romance!
I don't think they fully got to explore the relationship between the two ML's because of the twist, so it makes sense to have a 2nd season. IMO Jes & Bible looked great together, but I just wished we got to see more 'real' moments between them.
It felt pretty disjointed at times, but I do appreciate what they were trying to do with this. I hope they continue to bring us exciting dramas that have a darker thriller vibe.
I enjoyed this drama for what it was. I loved Fort's character and his acting ability, especially in the last episode. I also really liked the dynamic between the two MLs throughout the show and those kissing/NC scenes *chef's kiss* left me wanting more. Overall, MAME gave what was supposed to be given and for that I am thankful.
