I esp like Hua Yong's actor's tearful eyes, and the way he switches from cold enigma to pitiful omega. No wonder he got the role.

Anyways, taking Jeff's role was definitely a good decision.

Some cnetz think the same editing her with other actors. But not many actors will take female centered dramas (without changing the script) or willing to be 2nd billing (to a non liuliang actress).

Or she simply didn't have access to good scripts before.

Its long overdue. And yes, it was actually a villain role that made me notice her which is hard since most usually like a protagonist role.

So far, the melons I'm seeing of her possible next dramas are female centered so hopefully it stays that way.

Last year when the rumored ml kept changing, I visited this page a few times to make sure CDL stays 1st billing.

Congrats to her and the whole team for the drama's success. I enjoyed it and was satisfied despite the ending, rare when it comes to costume cdramas.

Hopefully she will have only good script options from here on.
