as a certified love triangle hater, i must say that the love triangle in this drama is bearable. The fl does admire/like 2ml in the beginning. However, I appreciate the amount of screen time the leads had. ML is always present & you can feel their budding emotions towards each other. Because of this love triangle fades into background. When fl realizes her feelings for ml, she makes it clear to 2ml & he was respectful of her choice. It was a mature portrayal of the trope.

i know a lot of ppl dislike shuxin’s voice but i love it. It’s so cuteee!

That was me until 3 days ago and i’m already keening to watch it again for the first time.

only one episode to go! Lately i’ve been obsessed with esther & her dramas. She hasn’t let me down once as of yet. Fresh off of road to success, i wanted to give this classic a shot.

I’m genuinely surprised by how captivated i was by this drama. Usually there comes a point in any cdrama where you find ur interest slowing down, but it’s insane that i didn’t get this feeling once throughout the entire drama. The plot was tight, i LOVED the leads & their chemistry, and even got invested in the side characters. I can see why this is such a classic.

yeah, it seems plausible. For a bit, i thought jinhwa’s soul might possess gang-uk to keep him alive. But i love the ml so i hope if they take this route, it will be temporary.

i agree! I want them to keep it as slight romance but i hope they establish their relationship if there’s ever a second season. They bring out the best in each other. I was completely captivated by them.

it’s always them slight romance dramas! The leads had crazy chemistry. Agh i needed more of them. Genuinely loved the entire concept! Pls i hope there’s season 2.

it’s a character driven story. Everyone has their share of emotional baggage and the drama does good job in diving deep into their psyche. Football functions as a wonderful foundation in the story. If you like romance, i must say this is the most organic and authentic relationship i’ve come across in a while. They gradually build their romance over the course of the story and it feels very raw and organic. Give it a go, if you liked the characters then you might become invested in the drama.

this drama has healed me! They made me care about each and every character & their ups and downs. I don’t even like football but i was glued to my seat for every match. Ps: Is it too early to demand a second project from jingke and shuxin? I can’t believe how obsessed i am with them.

now that she has a new agency i hope she can come back with a good drama!

definitely, my memory of oh my venus is a bit blurry. But i do remember skipping all their scenes bcs it filled me with disgust.

so ji sub i know you’re almost 50 but you have still got one more romance drama in you. I highly doubt he will do romance again but a girl can wish. :(

they did this in suspicious partner as well. Cheating will never be a “mistake.” These are conscious decisions made by grown adults who know the consequences of their own actions. Loved both dramas but i simply hate them for glorifying cheating. No amount of regret can make up for the trauma they caused.

i think it depends! I was really in the mood for a proper fantasy drama this time around. And it genuinely immersed me. It does drag a bit, but if you can push through then go for it. If you still can’t finish it then at least you tried haha!
