at first she became villain due to circumstances then after she chose to be a villain in the falls feeling that she was free only if she was selfish but when siyuan asked about was she really free she came to realise that she was not and lastly i think she loved siyuan like her own family because she said anyone can blame her for anything but siyuan cannot because she really cared for him and that is why she surrendered


anyways she is a villain but i can't seem to hate her that much i don't know why

finally completed but the ending has left me puzzled that siyuan has DID or someone else planted the poppy farm but one thing i know that the village poppy farm and the one in the last scene are different places so i think village one was planted by zhibai and the last scene one might be planted by siyuan or their might be more plot twist
