If younger actors get hurt a lot on set, I would also question the responsibility of the crew there. It's not okay to let actors get hurt for your scenes. Her interview sounds as if they were casual and irresponsible with her health, but if she were 25 that would not be okay either. Yet also, older people are more frail, if you want old people in your action scene, yes take extra caution.
This doesn't sound fine. Someone (probably the director or stunt director) neglected their responsibility to make sure actors don't get hurt. Weird that it is presented so casually.
