you lost a good drama
It does not for you.

For me, any drama with open or sad ending is a bad drama, so for me, it didn't stand, in the first place.

you lost a good drama
I can understand that very well as I have seen many Chinese dramas and novels that do this; tantalizing starts leading to disastrous ends.

That's exactly why if you browse my profile there is a list of dramas that I have cut into a shorter version because I liked the romance, not the series as a whole. Each took days to weeks to make.

Now though I have completely stopped watching them when they air.

Who have already watched it, have a different perspective because they have already invested so much time in it. Many get trapped in justifying there decision to watch it. Any reactions after the changed reality don't result in an adverse reaction.

Not for me though, if I find out that the ending is open or sad, I do what I can to express my rage on the lost time, everywhere I can.

There will always be a drama with a good ending that truly deserves my attention but still not get it.

And there are dramas like these who entrap us and throw our desires into the abyss, just to satisfy the writer's own sadistic tendencies. Such people certainly do not deserve my attention.

That's the classic plot which got lost to the makers.

Very realistic drama that happens irl, people who felt bored probably only watch dramas for the fairytales, unfortunately…
Fairy tales or not, people watch dramas for possibilities outside the beaten path. Entertainment is primarily for escapism.

So disgusting what is this🤮🤮🤮🖕
Everybody can make a mistake and holler about it or push for their agenda and change if they find it against their bottom line. That's completely in line with current mannerisms.

Why? Is there a BL couple in here? I just found out about this.
They have simply gone bat shit crazy on the freedom front so much so that they have twisted the meanings to allow and make a case for absolute freedoms. They have forgotten that freedoms have a price and must be limited.

Next time check the tags, South Korea is getting the same woke and LGBTQ+ tendencies as the larger western empire and their slaves. Better safe than sorry.

Its totally fine to wish for a normal relationship, not every body is out to do great things nor do they have…
You can and you cannot.

Do you think El Salvador's President Bukele, is inspirational for the world, no, not at all. Though he did eliminate gang culture and reduced murder rates from the highest in the world to below average, he is not an example for a country where such circumstances are a far cry. But for El Salvadorians, he is a god given gift, the best there is. The many innocents caught in the raids are a necessary sacrifice that they are willing to make, after experiencing regular deaths of loved ones over 30 years.

Equivalently, Mao was a boon for the Chinese as a whole, but a mass murderer for the elites. Who didn't even spare their relatives, completely wiping the slate clean of people who refused to let go, of their power tripping ways. Even now he is considered a mass murder by modern standards, because he is, but he was necessary, thus, he is literally worshipped for such in China.

The intensity or want for the need for changes, matters towards how much sacrifice is needed. Sometimes its possible to take everything in stride but humans are not equal, rare few can, most can't. It does not mean that those who cannot are not worthy of praise or inspiration.

Similarly inspiration does not mean, you copy everything about them.

I agree for the most part, except the modern relationships leading to disaster thing, which in my opinion is absolutely true.

Humans have this old, tried and disasterous pattern of adopting stuff they feel like would liberate them from responsibilities, but still keep the status quo with emotional stability. Only to fail at them so late that reversal becomes a matter of personal ego and shame. Moreover, we refuse to accept our mistakes and to improve upon it or draw inspiration from history. Nobody wants to suffer a loss and be a bigger person for the society's well being, let alone ours.

If modern relationship patterns would have evolved from the tried and true patterns from the past, the modern developed world would not have been so hard to work with.

Demographic crisis that is now prevalent in all developed countries and even developing ones, would still be a remote concept and we would not have to work as hard to earn as much.

Majority of us would still be able to buy our own homes without a loan that extends to the middle to old ages.

Many developed countries are on the verge of completely cancelling social welfare and benefits because there is not enough workforce to sustain it, and there won't be anytime soon, in fact, it is only slated to shrink further.

Our retirement ages would still be around 60 or less, not 65-70. Our old age outlook would not have dying alone or in a nursing home or committing suicide as the conclusion.

Japan can't be used as a counter example here as its their societal makeup, rampant pornography and thus, prostitution, that has actually precipitated their crisis.

But then again this was inevitable, just like how the woke movement is in its reversal phase, these problems that we created in lieu of more freedoms, will hopefully be corrected in time. After all these were never sustainable for a healthy society nor were meant to be, as they were a product of our selfishness.

Otherwise economic shock therapy will eventually fix it nonetheless. If not in our generation, as we tend to escape rather than improve, our children or their children will surely suffer many shocks.

This one show is better than 90% of Modern Chinese dramas but only has an 8.2.
It is an open ending, its obvious the ratings will take a large hit. Most people want a concrete ending after watching 38 episodes. I for one don't even bother watching.

Also after reading all the backlash about it i expected to find alot of unnecessary scenes but theres barely 4…
Koreans always make a mess with nudity or excessive violence in shows. They simply can't handle not getting to watch a show because it shows something they knew it has that they don't like, but they still opted to watch it, to feel the frustrations and tell the world about their discomfort, lol.

This actually reminds me of the wrongly titled Empire of Lust with Shin Ha Kyung and Kang Han Na, a beautiful movie ruined by the title and the rating by the sex phobics at MDL.

I am so used to it now that I simply ignore every one hollering about it and there are hundreds of them here.

The ending was preposterously shit. With all the shebang it was really disappointing to experience no climactically epic battle that this series deserved.

The director must be removed from the industry, he will only destroy great stories with his choices.

But because it kept me on till the end, I will give it 8/10.
