I'm currently watching Roommate and yeah I agree, such a lovely man- I've watched a few of his dramas though and…
I know !!!! isn't he gorgeous !!! The interesting thing is, not only females find him attractive, males find him attractive too!!! I believe he's straight though. Not sure why he's not married yet, I'd imagine tons of girls would be chasing after him. I think the new drama you're referring to is "strangers from hell"... I won't watch it because it's a horror show... I cannot watch horrors, too weak a heart, too scared to, won't be able to sleep at night... But wishing him great ratings in that drama !!!

I only just noticed Lee Dong Wook from watching Roommate last month (it's an old Kshow, in 2014, I think), but he really left an impression. Really nice man. So I started watching his dramas. Seems like he's always playing romatic roles (I'm not sure since I haven't gone through all his works yet). But OMG he's SO good looking. Lucky for all the female leads !!! It's so funny that in Produce X (current idol competition show) even the young boys kept flirting with him. LOL

is there comedy in this drama?
Hi Areesha, not really, at least I don't think the parts that made me laugh was intensionally meant as comical. There are a number of places I cried. I'd say it's a serious drama. But the charactors are well written and well performed. The detective is the one who made me chuckle, but that's my own personal preference of his charactor (rebellious, tenacious, just all round cool in my view). It's a smartly written drama. I would recommend you to try this one even if you are looking for a comedy. Enjoy!!

at ep 11, ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS DRAMA. but is Korea really like that in real life? That companies can get away from not paying wages (without filing bankruptcy)? That bosses can physically abuse drivers/employees, and the employees don't speak up in fear of loosing their jobs? This drama is a comedy and they did a good job on that. At the same time it also did a good job pointing out the problems the charactors face. But I keep wondering if the problems are really like that in reality. If so, then I hope this drama will bring awareness to the public, the authorities, etc.

I like the chemistry between Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo in "come and hug me", and also with IU in "my mister" better than with Nana here.

Title Roommate
I'm at ep 11, Park Min Woo is a sweet young man to take the initiative to approach his team to help their "cold" situation from driving of the broken truck. That entire situation is not solely his fault but he voluntarily took all the blame for it by apologizing to his team first, which he really need not have to. He's a "real cool man", "awesome". I was quite taken aback that no one else in his group took any responsibility of the mishap, all they did the entire trip was whine and complain. (The other team should take some responsibility as well for not helping them) I have to say the younger ones turned out to be more mature than the older ones. The youngest of them all, Ga Yeon, was the only one who was sensible enough to recognize that Min Woo was trying to look after them and that he meant well. The young Park Chan Yeol offered to take over the driving also. But the oldest of them all in the team just whined and judged. Seriously, shame on the oldest. Well done Park Min woo.

I understand what you mean, they often cross a line with jokes. Although to talk down to someone often has a different…
Thank you Love. Yes, it really takes some getting use to for me, and I find it hard to adjust to their jokes. I actually stopped watching the shows that these 2 host. I saw some idol shows hosted by others that I feel more comfortable watching. I understand where you're coming from and I agree it's most probably a cultural difference, I won't put negative ratings for these host, only some opinions which are subjective. However, I do think that since all these shows are broadcasting globally now, it will not be a bad thing for them to be a bit more sensitive to other cultures' tolerance. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope no-one took offense. Thanks again for explaining, and take care! :-)

Just watched this movie, although I find it difficult to stomach the bullying, the rape and the priest's prejudice made me sick, but Jinyoung and Jiwoo were both wonderful ! they must have been very young too in 2014. Fabulous actor and actress!! I'm following He is Psychometric right now and really love Jinyoung's acting. Hope to see him a lot more in various movies and drama !!
