Or Hongye went mad after his wife died and that was why he treated Fugui the way he did. And this is why I would like this aired as soon as possible so we don't have to make these guesses. It's torture... 😩

In the trailer for this when they were walking in the bamboo forest, they were talking about their child and Hongye said, 'if it's a boy I hope he is as kind as you' and Huaizhu proceeds to say she hopes the child will be as strong as him, and voila.... we have Fugui! 👶🏻
