Some thoughts on the political aspect of the series: I think the King kills the Crown Prince in the end. TBH I need the King to die cause that man's a coward and stupidly annoying. You have soldiers dying from the cold and women killing themselves to protect their chastity but this man is ashamed that he bowed down to the intruders to end the war. Like sir your priorities are not adding up... He is supposedly the Father of his people but acting like a wimpy kid that needs everyone to soothe and pacify him like you would do with a baby. The crown prince has a lot of learning to do and will learn a lot from Janghyun but that will come off as a threat to the King and eventually lead both of them to death. As the King already has his grandson which can take the throne after his death. Also with Yeonjun although I am not a fan of him, he was right in calling the King out in episode 8. But because he did that lmao the King praised his bravery and literally told him to go to death by visiting Simyang. I think Yeonjun didn't reject it because he was a coward but because he did not agree with the King . And you can really tell at that point that the King is not cut for the right-path Yeonjun wants for the King he wants to follow like he tells Eunae. Tbh you can see shift in Yeonjun's thought towards the King when he sees the thin shoes of the young soldier standing on snow protecting the King's chamber in the fortress while the King is in his comfortable warm seat. Because of this I think Yeonjun will join hands with Janghyun and help the crown prince take the throne but again with how Yeonjun is and his character of following one path it may be that he doesn't help the Crown Prince and might even be the reason Janghyun and the Crown Prince have a tragic ending.
yeonjuns an idiot, why tell gilchae about soonyaks question and how he couldn't answer, if you can't admit your feelings to her out of your inferiority complex then keep your mouth shut. why confuse the other person and make them linger on you when you gonna go get married.
yeondus mum better the strawberry 🍓 that would solve many problems in this drama especially the problem with haneul not being blood related to that gong family
semi's little mental breakdown and doyi's sudden marriage had me laughing for hours. the cliche kdrama lines sjhddj "do you want to see me go crazy?" dhdjdndk
if this weeks episode only focuses on doyi and her jungnam I will boycott istg. they had 50 mins screentime last episode and I quiet frankly don't care
tbh I know lee joongi will do a great job especially with the action, with how the last season ended eunseoms character is going to get stronger with lee joongis acting I think it would be great
this show is legit about babies but almost everything about babies is just wrong. why would you put a baby car seat like that! also why they holding these babies with no support to the neck. legit this stresses me out more than anything about the show omg
