Hey Yara… I wish I could find that clip again! It was a Reuters video from the reshoot- Rui’s character looked like he was dying, and Yan An seemed really distressed. He was aggressively hitting/pushing this small blue cushion thing (obviously for CGI) next to Rui, and screaming at it... and me and Mimi were trying to guess what it was supposed to be lol 😝😝 Later I saw a fan edit of YA and Rui, and turns out that blue thing was actually a CGI fox 😅😅😅 wouldn’t have guessed that in my wildest imagination haha...

So far (to my understanding): Hua Yong is an enigma, which is the most powerful race in the Omegaverse hierarchy. They can impregnate anyone including Alphas. He’s fixated on Sheng Shao You, an S‑tier Alpha, so he’s gone to great lengths to figure out Sheng’s “type.” He tracked down all of Sheng’s exes, studied them, and is now mimicking their personalities and behaviors- pretending to be an Omega, to catch Sheng’s attention. On top of that, Hua Yong is the CEO of X (the very company Sheng is interested in), which gives him even more leverage. He also seems friendly with Shen Wen Lang, probably as a business ally... so Shen’s backing helps Hua Yong’s schemes.
Now, Shen Wen Lang & Gao Tu: Gao Tu is secretly an Omega, but he’s hiding it to protect himself. he's pretending to be a beta. He uses inhibitors to mask his scent, so no one suspects him. He’s in love with Shen Wen Lang, who seems to dislike Omegas because of personal reasons. Shen seems to like him too, cause he starts getting jealous when he thinks Gao has been around another Omega (due to the scent on him)... when in reality, the scent he picks up is actually Gao’s own. Shen doesn’t know Gao is an Omega, so he misunderstands the situation completely...
I’m still a bit confused about the business side of things, but from what I understand: Sheng is urgently looking for a cure or drug to treat his father’s cancer, since his father doesn’t have much time left. That’s why he’s trying to collaborate with Shen Wen Lang’s company and also with Company X (which Hua Yong happens to be the CEO of, which sheng doesn't know yet).
A law demands for dramas filmed in China mainland to broadcast firstly on China and then to the rest of the world.…
I’m not sure how true this is, but from what I heard, Justice in the Dark actually did start airing already. They didn’t stop it because of censorship, but because of some internal issues about copyright with the network/production house or channel. So maybe that’s why they managed to get a license to broadcast it in another country under these special circumstances...

Yess, same! This arc seems so complex and full of twists... I’m honestly so excited to see how the mystery unravels! I also love how each new clue doesn’t make things clearer, but actually makes everything even more confusing, haha... 😄😄
