First of all thank you for replying.. and wow, no Hua Rong Tian sounds like a big change. Wasn’t it mentioned several times that the Emperor sent a spy disguised as his wife to keep an eye on his family, and then ended up killing her? Even the new 'Mei Jiu' married him as a spy too. I’m really curious how they’re going to navigate that part of the story now. I’m kind of torn about the whole thing. On one hand, after Mei Jiu’s rebirth, the plot does get really messy, so I can understand why they’d want to change it for a drama adaptation. But on the other hand, it feels like they might lose the essence of the story. It’s a tricky thing for sure. also, is there any discussion of this book going on? I'd love to join one...

I know this page is not for FOF so I won't go in details of all other scenes between Zhu Yan and Li Lun, but this particular one was my favourite and it hurt so bad cause they cut it.. it was the scene when Zhu Yan gave his true eyes to Li Lun. the extended script was: ZY: then I'll give you the truth eye, so that nobody can see real you. LL: what about you? ZY: from now on, I will see you not with my eyes, but with my heart LL: and what if there comes a day in the future when you can no longer see me with your heart? ZY: Then I can only hope that you don't lie to me LL: zhu yan, are you sure you won't regret it? ZY: that is up to you.. this was the original scene which we didn't get thanks to censorship 😭😭.. sorry for the long answer..

yeah I mean all that neck grabbing, even tho he could've transmitted powers without touching him, was there for a reason right!!! 🤣🤣 I audibly laughed in that scene lol.. Like baby we know it's all excuses to touch him lol 🤣
