okay than you for letting me know. I have actually watched the first 5 eps I think of the first season and then sort of discontinued it and I also sort of have the gist of wat happens at the end that's why I didn't want to finish the first season. I think I might be able to understand the second season if it's not too much related to the first season. I guess I will watch the first one if I struggle with it a lot.

I’m not sure if I get the villains motivations on exposing the virus.
it was shown in a very subtle way by giving examples of attackers from other countries. Basically he killed them because he wanted to, there was no deeper meaning behind it, he did it because it's fun. It was said how he killed animals to relieve stress, and I guess after his mom died something must have lead him to become bolder and start killing people.
