That was such a good first episode omg 😠Despite the dubbing not matching the mouth movements, the plot was actually really interesting. And when Chu San kept staring at Liu Yi’s massive bakery that was DEFINITELY out for display I was laughing so hard as he kept getting distracted by it (I mean… who wouldn’t??) 😂
They already have so much chemistry together, which I wasn’t expecting this early on. Their scenes felt really natural and fun to watch. And OMG that ending?? It actually caught me off guard and made me want to start the next episode immediately. If the rest of the series keeps this energy, it’s going to be so good.
they replaced his face with ai because hes starring in this bl and the chinese government is homophobic so the…
well his face is actually replaced by another actor's even though he was the one acting the face you saw was indeed not him (im talking about the actor who plays he chu san btw his face got replaced in the cdrama pursuit of jade)
If I remember correctly when I last saw this page like around new year, another actor was playing xia liu yi ???…
they replaced his face with ai because hes starring in this bl and the chinese government is homophobic so the production company had to replace his face with another actors face :(
No amount of words can EVER describe the way i feel towards this ep like, i’m afraid no bl will EVER top this one, AND THE LIP BITE? That was teeteepor idc
UGHHH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH ðŸ˜ðŸ’– My cheeks and jaw literally hurt from smiling this entire episode was pure sugar, like cavity level sweet and don’t even get me started on that cliffhanger??? HOW am I supposed to survive a whole week after that almost kiss?! I’m unwell. I need the next episode immediately.
Up til now their relationship is actually following the novel, but they have made only few changes: First, Duang…
Thank you so much 🥹this was really helpful! I’m also really hoping they continue to stay faithful to the novel because there are so many scenes I’d absolutely love to see teeteepor bring to life
Hi! I just have a quick question for the novel readers. Would you say this adaptation has been faithful to the original novel so far?
I saw a TikTok post highlighting some favorite scenes and Duangqin interactions from the book, and it made me really curious. I’d love to know if the show is following the story closely, just so I have a better idea of what to expect going forward.
It took me way longer than expected to finish this series as I was stuck on episode 6 for the longest time. For some reason, I just couldn’t get past the early episodes. They felt a bit slow-paced, and I think that’s what kept me from fully committing at first.
But tonight? I randomly decided to keep going… and suddenly it was 3am and I had finished the entire show ðŸ˜
I’m honestly so glad I pushed through because once the story moved past the slower introduction, it really picked up. The middle and final episodes were incredibly engaging and the pacing improved, the stakes felt higher, and I was completely invested. From that point on, it was hard to stop watching.
Looking back, I probably would’ve finished it much sooner if the first few episodes had been a bit tighter. That said, the payoff was absolutely worth it. Overall, it turned out to be a very good series, and I’m really glad I didn’t give up on it.
STOPPP THIS IS ADORABLE ðŸ˜ðŸ’– I literally couldn’t control my smile the entire time. The show is so cute and their dynamic is unbelievably sweet and full of chemistry in the best way. I love how it stays silly and fun without ever feeling cringe or overly exaggerated, it’s genuinely funny, charming, and just feels so warm. Every scene with them had me giggling and kicking my feet. I’m OBSESSSED
Totally agree + the way they started the story was kinda bad , as a person who love watching zombie series nd…
FOR REAL I was so lost the entire time because it wasn’t a smooth transition back to the present :/ the flashback just happened so suddenly. One minute we were seeing the past, and the next we were back in the present out of nowhere
