tbh this is my first full drama of him. Even tho I know about his reputation as good actor etc, I didn’t finish his other drama like Duolou Continent but I really like this one…it definitely started getting better eps8 above imo
My first time going to watch his drama until the end. I like his acting here, FL too. Both show some good quality acting imo especially heavy emotional scenes.

otw I’m pretty sure they have their own stans too in China who will be diligent enough to make vids😂 but I like Yao Yi-Yuan not ZY-Yuan because I still find it a bit creepy for him to develop feelings for someone he raised from baby 😅
I really like the way Yuan cares for ZY, vice versa but just deep care between people who have known each other for a long time.

true it’s amazing that RM is able to have 2 different kind of vibes with same person. As Zy, it kinda looks like siblings vibe and as Yao Yi, they truly have couple vibe. I actually felt so bad for Yao Yi-Yuan, they’re even more ill fated than SY-ZY😌

yup i think they make it way more reasonable with solid motives when the characters did something. It goes smoothly with more logical approach.

She messed it up so the plot could move like in the book lol I won’t deny that what she did was stupid too but things need to happen.

yes I had watched this too but if you also had watched BTS Of this drama & her palace drama I was talking about, you would know she can alter her voice to suit the scenes. Oh well.
But I’m glad to hear things have gotten better in china. They can’t find fault in her acting anyway.

I feel bad for her for being dragged into the mud when she showed great acting to me for this drama. She had dubbed her own voice for a palace drama, Serenade of Peaceful Joy and she sounded so good and get praised for it. idk maybe production think she sounds annoying. I have seen her acting befor this and I know about her capabilities.
It’s good that she also currently has another ongoing TV drama where she’s getting much better treatment and praises for her acting and looks there. I hope she will overcome this hardship.

If some people haven’t noticed yet, this drama totally inclined more towards ML being a knight to the FL which I don’t blame them since they managed to sign up XZ the top traffic star for this drama. They need to change the novel into alpha male story instead of female centric. ML was written way too perfectly while FL was written with flaws that made people dislike her for being childish, reckless, annoying etc you can name it all. They even did her dirty with her styling on top of that when main FL looks better in other dramas/movie of her. Oh well. No offense.
