nah how does this drama still have an 8.6 rating 💀💀 it’s been stale since episode 10 lmao so disappointing fr like the murder mystery part was really unnecessary esp because they didn’t do it well… like at all and it’s honestly too much like I feel like the school issues and education system is already a very broad issue they could’ve really fleshed out and do a lot with; I honestly wouldn’t have minded the slice of life/ romance genre where we see Mr ji. Abe becoming part of the s family too, more family moments in general with the friend and chiyeol even, haeyi dealing with sua herself and her friends helping, maybe even more flashbacks between haeyi and her mom, more romance scenes for sure to develop the main two’s relationship (maybe the store is under trouble and he comes to help etc) , chiyeol and Mr ji putting the moms and the director of the pride in place, maybe a friends trip with the teenagers or them all studying together and helping each other…. So much wasted potential

I am so conflicted about this kdrama. In certain ways, it is refreshing and super cute and funny. I especially love the scenes with the main two because their dialogue and interactions are written so well. I am also a sucker for found family and just single parents finding love. The scenes with him and her family are cute too.... but that's about it. In terms of romance, this drama gets a 100/10, but in terms of plot and characters, I would say 6-7/10. I thought the mom's friend would play a more important part to the overall family like in previous kdramas, but I feel bad for her. They should've shown more of how they became friends and helped each other, and she should be included in more family scenes. Second, I honestly just skip to the scenes with the main 2, because everyone else is so corrupt, nosy, and frustrating. How are they all obsessed with just one teenage girl?? I don't like Haeyi's friend Danji. She's annoying and she was so quick to turn against Haeyi when she needed her the most. Also, I know lots of people like Geonhu but he doesn't even stick out to me because he just comes in at the end of the school scenes. None of the kids stick out to me really. It really irritated me how Haeyi's mom is so nice to the other moms despite them really having it out for her. She's too nice and passive and so is Haeyi. How is she going to let Sua walk all over her? Sungjae and Haeyi aren't even a united front most times. It's all so messy. Also, I like the main two but I wish they shared their struggles with each other more, so it doesn't seem too separate. I feel like they kind of know each other on the surface. Is no one going to find out the Director for the Pride is in cohorts with the evil mom? The episodes really started boiling my blood. I feel like this is one of those dramas that really didn't need the murder mystery, because there already seems to be a lot of issues in general with education, and the relationships between everyone. Hometown Cha Cha Cha definitely executed this better. This would have worked better as 90% romcom because the characters have great chemistry.

I have never seen a more stupid kdrama writer and this is really the epitome of western values ruining a drama bc the audacity and bullshit I see in this drama is the same type of stupidity I would see and expect from an American show. Like, I would rather take the slow burn, angsty breakup, and then happy ending rather than this mess. How tf do they get together so late, have the second lead kiss the main lead first, and then continue to have the relationship be tested by that person and someone in the relationship themselves right before the ending. Usually they focus on the external drama surrounding the couple in the stable relationship by now. wtf is this writer doing?? I’m not one for making up theories or believing them but this writer has to hate the main lead! My guy deserves better and he needs to end up with something else. I have also never seen a female lead have such poor character development it’s seen as character regression at this point. They turned her into such a bad girlfriend and a whore 🙄 Why is she still lying to the main guy and he’s just okay with it? Why can’t he tell her off? Also, I have seen so many toxic male and female second leads but somehow dumbass Sunho tops the list. I hope no one ever meets a guy like him. It’s not devotion, it’s mental illness at this point. Stupid writers, characters, and kdrama. I’m glad the writing is lowering and reflecting the true quality of this drama. This is the worst drama of the decade

whoever likes the second lead y’all retarded af and I want you to get help because how you gonna like this annoying and persistent man that doesn’t know boundaries and went to stop 🤮 he doesn’t respect the wishes of the second lead despite her telling the whole world she isn’t his 💀 it’s not like they wrote her any better making her a whole ass how that leads him on but the second lead is a clear whole red flag and if you can’t see it get help; a man that can’t take no is not swoon worthy like pls leave this 12 year old mindset in fact that makes him immature and not appealing at all! Pls learn the difference between a toxic and healthy relationship ; I bet y’all just like him bc u think he’s good looking but he’s really not and y’all need to wake tf up and that doesn’t excuse his actions and he’s literally your typical “nice guy” I wonder when they’ll give the main lead a role where he is treated like it bc this is ridiculous

I really love this drama but I'm not looking forward to the scenes with hwa yeong, yeongguk, and the teacher. I feel really bad for hwa yeong and hope she gets someone better and I really feel bad for her son too. I'm going to just skip their scenes because it makes me sad.

I'm on episode 4 and it just keeps getting better! I don't know what it is about this drama, but it is so refreshing and wholesome! I realized kdramas where the cast are all adults are so good, and these two are exceptionally great actors! They have so much chemistry, and I love the supporting cast!

So starting was really nice ...I love the vibe we are feeling here ... but how can they always find a childhood…
I always think that too LOL ngl that childhood trop is so overdone and boring, but it's such something I ignore at this point because it's just everywhere

Usually, you would think that a drama that has such a high rating from the beginning is due to the famous actors and actresses in it, and while that may be true for this drama, I can confirm that the plot itself is amazing!! Something about it is so refreshing, and I'm not sure about other people, but I've been in a kdrama drought and nothing has really been catching my eye recently, but I was interested in this from the trailer and the first 2 episodes did not disappoint!!! It was so wholesome and interesting, and the two leads have so much chemistry and are really cute.

This drama started off really unique and funny so I binged the first few episodes all excited and eager to see the main two interact! They were so freaking cute, and I loved Dam's interactions with her friends and brother. However, when he comes back as her Professor, I don't know what happened but they were no longer cute and the age gap seemed like a lot. It wasn't cute or funny anymore, and I like how they barely interacted but still liked each other. The male lead got kinda creepy and annoying. For this case, I wish they made the second male lead more likeable and I would root for those two. She also stopped interacting for her friends for the most part, and I hate when this happens in kdramas. Romances should not be prioritized over friendships. I'm so disappointed with the second half of the drama and it's become boring, which is really sad because it started off so good. My favorite characters are really her friends and Hye Sun. They also did Soo-kyung so dirty and I don't know why because I love how funny, sweet, and talkative she is. This drama could not keep me hooked the entire time, but rather became annoying, slow, and repetitive. If you want a nice fantasy that keeps you engaged the whole time, watch Hotel De Luna or Goblin.
