Another overrated drama has ended. There's no need to go so far with these lousy reviews comparing this one to Hospital Playbook. The proposals are different. What this one really lacked was chemistry. From start to finish, I read the comments from the communities and just thought: wow, this season is really weak to make them have to be acclaiming this. Half of the second quarter of the year has already passed, and none of the releases really impressed. What actually surprised me was the opposite: they all managed to be average to bad. Resident Playbook has all the points I love in its authors' past dramas, except: the bonding effect. At no point did you feel attached to the characters. Truth be told: there were times when I questioned whether this was even realistic. I understand the concept of young residents having a hard time, but the narrative model was so verbose in terms of their maturity. The detached way was made to create a correlation with the younger generation, detached and totally out of sync. But I repeat: medicine is not a profession. that this could exist, and trying to work a drama on this topic, would need at least 24 episodes with more actors gaining attention besides the main ones, the idea is not even remotely bad, but the feeling is that they failed to understand how to create the characters' maturity throughout this first year, and the lack of chemistry only made this more evident.

Resident is trash too, The problem is that in the midst of so much crap, this drama seems better, and even with the connection to the hospital playlist, the disguise is good. I didn't know that all these dramas were from TVN, they are very bad for the first half of the year.

If you're thinking about watching this drama, forget it, it's weak, one of the first ones I watch and think: Wow... it's just bad, not bad because it's trying something and ends up making mistakes in the middle of the process, just bad, its editing is strange, the couples have no chemistry, the idea and development are weak, in general, if you haven't watched other dramas by the actors, you can even say that they're not good at acting because of the script, I forced myself to finish it, I should have avoided from the beginning!

just watch the winner's drama, you will realize that iu did nothing compared to her. (and i liked very much Iu as ae sun)

If someone were to win the award for best actor, it would be Park Hae Joon, who simply made Gwan Sik the best character of the year by far. Park Bo Gum did a good job, but to be considered the best of the night, Iu would need to be crowned at the very least (which is impossible, Tae Ri was just playing at acting) and have more screen time. The day that the biggest award goes to someone with less than half the screen time in a 16-episode drama will be funny.
