I hope in this drama we get an explanation rather than a lazy writers excuse that they are psycho and there is no real reason that we tend to see a lot in kdramas.
It was like I am going to take a spin off a regular American high school drama like Riverdale but still keep it a k-drama if you get what I mean and it definitely was not a good mix. It came off weird and cringe.
Also a lot of scenes gave that feeling when someone starts a sentence then abruptly stops and says never mind and doesn't finish their sentence....thats what a lot of story was like they were half baked and didn't build up to finish to be a good plot.
Then how many times are we basically going to repeat the same lines but in a different setting like things are going to change. (Jae Yi and Kang Ha convos for example but there was soo many more)
One thought that just kept popping into my head the whole watch was..... No lie but Lee Chae Min (Kang Ha) and Kim Jae Won (Ri An) looked better suited to play brothers rather than anything else because they have similar builds and looks.
He was a cheery assistant to CEO male lead in the romcom Lie to Me. That was a long time ago though (2011). In…
Yes! That I believe was the first drama I seen him in and its all I ever see. I was wondering what he was like in real life that he is always playing those roles.
In Frankly Speaking I have been waiting for the evil even though his role has been a couple lines here and there its like I am so used to it that I am just waiting for it.
not easy when you literally bonded with a person, it is not easy to let go and move on EVEN if you love yourself.…
I was just thinking of this after finishing the episode....he has been a crappy parent to I Na. He has only been thinking about him and his pain for years that he couldn't even see that the woman he loved wanted to leave him. Then now he is only putting in effort to be a dad when Da Hae pushes him to do it. Still at the end he is still talking about saving her after she tells him that he is going to die and that he should be with his daughter but again he doesn't care about that. Understandable he would be heart broken if she was gone but what if Da Hae decided she wanted to breakup with him he would do the same thing and ignore his child.
This is part of the main reasons I dislike the ML....there has never been any balance its been all about him and its a very irresponsible and selfish way to live when a parent.
It goes without saying I will watch anything Ji Sung is in but...
I hate how the writer was kind of lazy starting off the story....when the dude came by for forgiveness you already knew he was going to be dead soon. Its just lazy....
Lee Se Na - What is her deal exactly? Did she sleep with Young Won's father in law or did she sleep with her husband? Or is it neither and she is just obsessed with Young Won?
Jae Jin (Husband) - there is definitely something off with him....I don't feel like he has any connection to Lee Se Na but there is definitely something going on between him and Dr. Oh.
Hong Sa Gang (MIL) - She is definitely jealous and doesn't like Young Won and I definitely think she had something to do with her husband's death.
Choi Go Myu (FIL) - his death was so convenient
Young Won - honestly had no thoughts on her until the cut to the flashback of her father.....she was cold to him and told him to prove it but when I saw the FIL there it made me wonder how she ended up marrying into that family? Was she really naive to believe FIL had nothing to do with the scandal???....I didn't even need to hear the recording to guess he was involved. Then it begs the question if she is so easily cold to her family why is she the so eager to please to her in-laws?
Last who is CEO Hwang?
Definitely a promising start....I really hope that Lee Se Na is not just there to be some weird obsessed fan or something out to ruin Young Won for some stupid absurd reason. Also the MIL in this first episode by far stole the show.
Did anyone else notice on Viki it has the first episode saying it’s coming in 22 days?
So this drama did indeed air because I am seeing sites have it with subs so maybe Viki is not going to air it until mid way through the drama not sure why.
I even checked again today and it seems like Viki is still counting down 21 days I’m wondering if airing date got pushed back or just Viki is not going to air the same time as the show does.
Trying to keep spoiler free...
