that's what i think too. like he looks like he's 30 and likes her when she's in high school and also he's so controlling…
haha i'm glad you enjoyed my ranting/rambling. it is a fun drama to watch if you're bored for sure but i can't lie and say the 2nd leads won't annoy the heck out of you! haha
people in kdramas always forgive their parents who abandoned them too quickly and it’s such a pet peeve of mine. most human beings aren’t like that, humans have critical thinking skills and also hold grudges. it’s so stupid to be me that jandi would forgive and side with her mom, rather than be more reserved and stand-offish towards a person who is the main reason for her trauma and abandonment issues. this is just a daily drama so i know i shouldn't expect more than 2D character writing, however, part of me feels like we as the viewers should be allowed to want more from this show, there is no excuse, especially when i have seen good, at least better than this, writing come from both KBS1 and KBS2 dramas. it's just silly.
came here to ask the same thing as the commenter below, the first 7 episodes are on youku but i don't see the rest anywhere else. does anyone know where they would be?
if the drama was anything like the stuff you listed, it would be soo much better
yup. exactly right, making it this far in a drama, you would think the writer wouldn't want to waste time on makjang themes so late in the drama, when we had SO many episodes already without the leads being happy together. they haven't been given a moment of peace since being together. in the earlier episodes i also hoped that if we hung on and stuck around we would get those happy moments eventually, but now i'm certain it'll be a rushed and messy ending.
can kdrama writer write a good SFL? Always making SML saint and SFL evil.
ikr, it really showcases how a lot of writers have bias towards women vs men. even if the writer is a woman herself, you can always tell by how they write SML vs SfL, it is so overdone too.
