i don’t think ive ever seen a cdrama get sold internationally and only air there, usually it has to air in the homeland to get sold internationally. so sad 😞

(on ep 30) i love how 2nd ML says “i’ll be the one to protect her from now on” like dude, you saw it all go down, but you couldn’t, (or wouldn’t) do anything because of your dad. who’s to say the next time something like that happens you won’t step in AGAIN because of your dad?

yep. exactly. my guess is they might hook her up with fl’s ex boyfriend, or bring some new dude on for her later in the show. either way they’ll definitely give her an undeserved love line and happy ending. 🙃

don’t mind me cause i’m catching up so i’m only at episode 24, but the staircase fall & catch was fire 🔥 i love the leads chemistry, wish we got to see more of it but it’s early days still lol. the fall actually reminded me of one of my favorite longform kdramas, “vengeance of the bride,” and i checked who’s directing this one and it’s actually the SAME director. so no wonder it gave similar vibes. the 2nd fl in that one was also constantly hurting the fl then getting screamed at by ml for it.

i just know they’ll give the nasty 2nd female lead a happy ending somehow. like she deserves it after all the shit she’s said and done 😂

yeah. it's just an extremely selfish thing, i can't say it's shocking that people do it, i know most people drunk or under another influence feel like they've done it so many times and can handle themselves behind the wheel when that is just never the truth. when going out their should either be a designated sober friend or a plan to get a taxi home. however there are no excuses for drunk driving. it's better to get your car towed for leaving it overnight somewhere than drive home. but there are so many celebs in SK with drunk driving scandals, like i said, it isn't shocking bc it's so common. i know what alcohol and drugs can do to the brain, i just don't personally find there to be any excuses for it especially when it's fully grown adults doing it; they should know better

Yeah that makes sense. It’s each to their own honestly. We won’t know how it is till it airs, just for me personally the second I read the description I had doubts and concerns about how they would portray this.

Exactly this. Even without the connections to Jonghyun ever since I heard about this drama the plot made me uncomfortable. Why add romance and comedy to an issue that isn’t even touched on properly in SK. Mental health & suicide are such sensitive topics that shouldn’t be handled this way imo.

Yup. Exactly. This mom has more loyalty for the entire show to her friend Jam than she does her own family as well. It’s ridiculous. Why do you need to sacrifice your sons happiness bc your friend wants to marry their daughter to him? 😒 Despicable.

Exactly. We don’t see any character growth from her or anything and she doesn’t get any sort of punishment for her terrible actions. I knew I’d never be able to get on board with her character when she slapped Mayom without evidence & then cried and played the e victim when Ma wanted her to apologize. She acts like a child and she’s supposed to be a fully grown mother. Actually, Chujai is more mature than her so I shouldn’t even call her a kid. She’s just awful.

“i cant stand seeing you sad!” says the mom who denied her son’s happiness the entire show. LOL. i would definitely have to drop bc of her if it wasn’t for how cute the leads are together, i’ll literally have to watch their other drama from 2021 just because of how much i like them together.

ikr? like i’ve seen terrible mom’s in dramas before but she is genuinely so insufferable as a character. zero redeeming qualities
