since the age discussion is still going on i will say, its not a story problem more like...its the way dialogues are written and scenes are edited. their first meeting is still weird. instead of her saying "i had the most fun in 100years" to a child's face they could have just showed scenes of them playing around and bonding

another ques i am curious. so if she was a woman in her first life and she was hetro. when she was reincarnated…
also from all the comments, what i understood is that when saw him (she was a 12 years old) she magically understood that he is the love of her life. her "first love" who probably died tragically in her first life. but the drama should have given us hints in the book drop scene instead of editing it like that.
