Nur's Mom (Bo) came out of retirement to play the role. Now she might play a horrible mom but irl, she's the epitome of support. Wouldn't you say? Your only daughter, opens her own production company and her first project is a GL and she stars as one of the main leads??? Even though she didn't have to work at all, cause you guys are super rich.
Well I was asked in EP1 what I thought about the series. I said it was way to early but it wasn't in my top lists yet. However, the improvement in Ep2 from the premiere is remarkable. It simple looked like it was edited by a different person. All the problems I had with ep1, has disappeared. The story of course has to develop but as of right now, it certainly has risen tremendously in my 2025 list. The acting was less stiff, the annoying music disappeared, the audio was greatly improved...excellent job Nur (Bo) in fixing the problems...because at the end of the day, everything rests at your feet as producer. ep 1 - 4/10, ep 2 - 8/10. I can't wait for ep 3!
What about player, dangerous queen and love design? Or you don't wanna judge too early.
Exactly, but out of the 3 you mentioned, Love Design is the closest. Player has me a bit hesitant because of Memi..her acting? Ice is perfect as I knew she would be. DQ is way to early, I will see after EP2, but regardless, I will be watching because I support female led productions. I watch for acting, production, directing, story and for me, chemistry. I also count it in if it is edge of your seat watching. I must want to watch the next episode immediately. Petrichor and several more, was like that in 2024. The ones with the best all round, make it to my top list. Sometimes, there may be some GLs that made my top in one or two of those but lacked in another on my list.
OMG!!!!!!!!! Ok I have decided...that Denied Love and Poisonous Love are my 2 favourites of the year. I have enjoyed almost every one put out this year...but my standouts are; 'US', the GL that just makes you feel GOOD. 'Somewhere Somehow' is funny af and although mostly everyone hates 'Only You'...the chemistry is still chemistrying for LingOrm and the story was a perfect telenovela, so I actually love it. 'Harmony Secret' showed us that although they turned down the loves scenes, LMSY's acting and chemistry, can carry an entire series! Lastly 'Roller Coaster' was messy, but they gave us Shelly, Pundao, Neko and surprise, surprise to the first ever man I liked, Kimmy (Lamp) his acting was great but the filmmakers, really fleshed out his character..so bravo. More female directors PLEASE!
I was a little worried, but after Petrichor I guess I shouldn't be BUT to have all or most of MGI's past queens in a flag ship series was going to either brilliant or a disaster. I am so glad to say, only after ep1, it looks like it was a brilliant idea. I loved EP1!
I agree. Way better than that mess SK came up with, but I will admit this is a bit different but still within the reality realm. Do you have a couple yet?

Thank you so much for your reply. I find it so unnecessary. I don't understand the need to spread hate everywhere and in anything, but especially in a beautiful space like this. There are so much GLs right now. We are spoilt for choice. It isn't too far removed when we only had ONE, now 5 new GLs are beginning THIS month alone. If you don't like one, move on. I am thoroughly enjoying this and I don't know why someone, anyone would dump hate on the show. If it's not your taste, cool...stop watching and move on. There are a lot of GLs to chose from. Leave us, who are loving the show in peace, so I can have great chats with fellow lovers of the show and LingOrm's performances. And as far as anyone leaving any kind of contradictory or hateful reply, it will be deleted. I refuse to engage in a tit for tat on a subject that takes me away from all the hate in the world. I refuse to add any hate to my happy space.
The dramas that should end in 7, 8 episodes are stretched up to 12-15 episodes, and this gem is only 8 episodes,…
My question as well. I felt this about Denied Love as well, but at least we are getting more from that story...where as this....should have been at least 12 eps.
