I realize that ratings on MDL rarely exceed an 8, but even so, the rating of 7.8 here is low. The two newest Taiwanese…
People automatically consider Japanese dramas too "weird" or "exaggerated" and dismiss them or rate them low. This drama had a rating of 8 by episode 1 and it only went lower, thus proving people didn't even care.
This drama is about broken people after Sou left them and they are all stuck in some way. Tsumugi, Minato and even Sou need to go through this to be able to move on. Maybe we won't get the romance of Sou and Tsumugi, but I hope we will get them at a better place than on episode one.
As for Minato, he deserves more than Tsumugi. I can see his flaws, but part of it is also cause his relationship with his gf is severely lacking from both sides.
So Viki will upload 2 days after next episode, as Viki say EP#3 coming in 4 days.
Yeah apparently it will be on viki one day after airing in Japan. Which is good cause that way people can watch it faster and not bother Irozoku with dms.
I might be wrong but I think Tsumugi maybe had a mental breakdown or something similar in the past. I saw signs such as her not wanting more than part time work in episode one, her reclutance to move on with Minato and how her brother pushed her, the way Minato told her to watch cute animal videos when she was crying suddenly and lastly the way she was so subdued when Minato patronized her about Sou in the restaurant. It's like something happened to her.
Of course, time will show if it's true or just me reading too much into it.
This is my 4th jdrama this year with deaf characters. First was Fight Song. Then Shizuka chan to Papa Then orange days (which I really recommend to most of you) And finally this one.
I think Oramge days fits the most as a recommendation for those who are watching Silent now.
I came here to read comments about the drama, instead all comments are about eng subs.
Viki will get a channel manager this week at best, I don't think they will take too long since it's very reqiested. As for the fansubber, it's a fansubber so they do the work cause they want to, don't be rude to them.
If you can't wait for the new episodes, just start it once the drama ends. It will be a great Christmas present to yourselves 😊
This drama is one example of how the lgbtq+ tag can hurt a story since most comments are angry bl stans who came only for the hea of the gay couple.
This drama is more than a lgbtq+ story though. It's about life and choices and about mistakes that the characters could have avoided if they weren't humans. So as a human drama, it makes you see all sides of life, including how first loves don't last or how we compromise in life.
This episode called me a single loser to my face, but oh well... Happy to see happy gays for once instead of issues with closet/coming out/having a gf/a love rival. Good change of pace.
I love this show but the comments section is killing all joy. Seriously bl stans here should go join some creative writing class or whatever cause I know damn well you aren't judging thai or korean bls as hard as this simple bl. Annoying.

Those are the ones who always get high ratings

However in the show it seemed obvious that Makki knew, that was why Meiko lied.
