This was eons apart from "Why R U" version although they came out in the same time and from the same Korean cinematic universe. Everything worked together, from story to actors and directing, and while it is only 10 short episodes, you get to know the characters and feel for them. I watched the first part before watching this, just to refresh my memory and this is way better. It has humour, soul and pain, story and characters development that makes sense.... This is not Shakespeare, and BLs are not your typical romance shows, also is a bit more daring than usual since one of the couples is a more mature one, but is still entertaining.

This series hurt me in so many fresh ways. I thought I knew what will happen by the end around episode 5 but it was different than I thought although fresh and heartbreaking. Everything was on point, from writing, directing and actors, everything worked together to keep you interested till the end. Koreans almost always manage to make me want more and think about these characters long after they are gone.

This was too bad to even talk about ir. The original was iconic as story goes and it spanned careers for some of the actors with good reason. This has the feeling of being made in a rush and the story and directing is uninspired, with characters behaving annoyingly for most part. Nothing original, everything seemed badly copied from other BLs. From changing characters personality in the middle of an episode for no previous reason explained to lack of feelings or emotions displayed, from turning one of the main characters to a shallow rich boy with no substance or having one of the main characters as a mindless puppy with nothing to make him desirable .... The Thai original - not version as some delusional comments - had a storyline, soul and very good character development as well as humour, drama and pain, and for that time was quite good. A pity, Koreans had a great year of BLs in 2022 - Semantic Error, Cherry Blossoms, Light on me - but this year they are just seemingly throwing them out on a conveyor belt and wait to see what will stick or not. Very disaponting.....

Yes, I totally agree. The story seems unfinished. The main actor has a different show which was similar - "When I fly towards you" - similarly seemed rushed, but at least was ended properly. Sad, I actually enjoyed this story and overall show, although is not ground-breaking.

I am baffled at the last episode, seems the story is not finished for any of the couples but specially for the main one. I hope is because they are doing a second season otherwise is really frustrating.

I say that you need to start reading and educate yourself with something else than self-help books, you would understand then the difference between reality and fiction. Also, if you are taking your values from shows that are meant to entertain and shock, I am sorry.

What is the point of this over-sensibility because of a show? By definition stories are always embellishing things in order to move the story along. So if there are stupid people who would see a TV show and start acting like is real we should maybe try to make them not so stupid instead of making sure they live in a sterilized world. Books, shows an movies depict caricatured characters, it's normal and why we call it entertainment and not reality...

I liked that they did not sugar coated the work and home abuse and that they did not feel the need to show multiple couples in order to tell a story or insert the over the top annoying gay friend which is a must in a lot of the Thai BLs, instead making this a more interesting story. I am looking forward to their upcoming series.

I am so disappointed in this storyline and directing... So much hype for a story that makes no sense and is disrespectful to the viewers intelligence... Also, the timeline does not make any sense, judging from the Pat's female friend's pregnancy is at least 1 year or more after he met Jeng for the first time, but judging for the 2 couples moments is about 3-4 months. Not one but both couples presented act out of character and ilogic. Both Pat and Jaab are openly gay, flirt and pursue another guy - in Jaab case he pursues also a guy who is openly gay and in a relationship that Jaab is aware of - but somehow Pat is so stupid that after 8 painful and frustrating episodes he is mad when he discovers Jeng is gay, and Jaab becomes so upset when the guy he actively pursues kisses him and then tells him he left his boyfriend for him... Is upsetting since the level of storytelling and directing should have been much higher judging by all the BLs coming out of Thailand for last 3-4 years. The only thing that made me try to finish this serie are the actors, which deserved better but is hard to even watch episode 11 till the end.

hahaha, you are right but we have been liking this kind of story since Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, "Pride and Prejudice" and pretty much every other romance story. let's be honest, this kind of plot appeals to the romantic side of any woman, specially if your life needs a level of saving...

Binged 5 episodes and I am feeling so sad I only have one more to go for now... This is very good and the fact that the actors are age appropriate and with no meeting when they were 4yrs old so far (so sick of that type of plots) was one of the attractions to start watching, but the story is good and visuals are also good :)

Thank you for all the enjoyment after hearing your music. I loved the music from "A Tale of a Thousand stars" so much and then found the music from Moonlight Chicken as beautiful so i finally broke down and looked up the composer. It made me love Thai music and this is after so many Thai shows where I disliked the music a lot. Hope to hear your music again, thank you.

I really enjoyed the story and the acting. It broke away from teenagers crush and has a more mature and realistic approach to love and life even if it has a paranormal subject. I liked the ending too, which is not that usual for me with Thai BLs, they usually fizzle out in interesting plot by the end. I wish we would see more BLs that put accent on the story and characters.

One of the best stories GMMTV created. I had to finish it in one sitting, was that good. I even loved the musical score and that does not happen that often. Proves that a good story, a good director and good acting can keep you watching. It is few years older but still better than a lot of recent BLs coming from Thailand.

Thank you for voicing the thoughts of a lot of us, It rally is a great love story both for main and second pair. I hope will see all of them in something else, playing together.

I also watched it in one sitting. So refreshing to see characters which are less nubile and more realistic. I enjoyed it a lot, watched it yesterday and planning to re-watch it soon
