Meanwhile, CDL is a timeless beauty. I like to compare her to the Chinese saying of a “beauty who can make the fish sink and wild geese fall” (沉鱼落雁 ). The styling team really did them justice. For CDL, this role is huge for her and is definitely what she deserves with the amount of times her screen time gets cut short!

I watched the first episode. Cinematography is flawless as always. CDL and JJY are very beautiful. However, I didn’t expect to get a whole expedition dump in the 1st 10 minutes of the show. I already forgot half of the characters names lol. It kind of threw me off. The bass-boosted flute that spawns out of nowhere is also a bit funny. I don’t know why this suddenly became a stylistic choice of GJM, as it was more toned down in MJTY and FOF.
