i think that RSB and the blind sister are teaming up to expose Bai Luo true identity. What happened in front of the grandma was just an act. RSB is the best schemer, she'll not marry him and if she agree it's that she has a plan.

I already change the old one into this one because people wanted to change it, but i didn't find any picture of her meeting the criterias, i took me months !! i hope that someone will find a better one, but i actually couldn't ( i don't really have access to weibo for exemple). You’re sooo right, these days, tv shows, dramas and everything are shorter than before because everyone is being impatient.
I miss dramas like Story of Yanxi Palace, enjoying schemes and romance with proper character development and plot. But now dramas feel like directors don’t get enough time to explore all they want to correctly.

I think that Shen Bao was acting on purpose. She already told her everything she needed to know but now she has to face another problem : her marriage.She wants to expose Grandma mistakes right in front of her so she’s playing the perfect and filial child. Because the grandma will not change no matter how you talk to her (she already proved that by the argument that she got with her), so now the only way it’s to show her, her own mistakes.
It’s just my theory but I hope this is true. If not, then I do not understand why she’s acting like this even though the grandma didn’t change after all Shen Bao said to her.

She doesn’t even consider Shen Bao as an human being 💀 Always planning her life as if she was living the life she wanted through Bao. All her mistakes, Shen Bao has to pay for it by doing what the grandma didn’t get to do back then 😬

I totally understand your point of vue but I think that’s important to see what kind of person she is to begin with. Even with her sisters she doesn’t show affection that much, she shows it in her own way. Like yes we can say that she doesn’t show it well or enough but we can’t deny her feelings for him.
I think that he’s the one helping because she’s the one who needs help. When did he need anything actually ? He wanted privileges, she gave it, he wanted marriage, she gave it. When he was the most in danger, she was the one protecting him by letting him in the household.
I think that actually, there’s nothing that he really needed. So maybe in the next episode, he will need her help for something.
He’s proud of helping her because she only rely on herself, she’s always alone so her needing him shows that she trusts him. It shows that she thinks that he’s reliable.
And yes she doesn’t have the usual way to show her affection, but basing on her character she’s already showing him a lot. Letting him in her private space.
She might show it more when all this mess is gone, because there is too much happening here.

I didn’t think that there would be so many people not liking Shen Bao because she doesn’t show her love ?
Actually she showed many times that he’s special for her, she wanted to marry him, she asked for his help (proving that she trusts him), she’s worried about him, she cares a lot !! She understands him too, for exemple for the Maid case, she was angry but didn’t blame his choice.
We’ll see it even more in the next episodes.

Maybe that’s what Shen Bao wanted, because how did she know about the Tea King Tree. The scholar even approached the father of the daughter, he doesn’t seem like a bad guy so maybe they are all in a team (I want to believe this just to see Governor Jiang downfall).
By this cooperation, the « blind » sister can change, Governor Jiang falls and the family go back stronger than before (the only problem left is the Grandma)
