i feel the same way... :( i really wanted to like her but i can stop myself from fast forwarding her scenes most of the times... it's just little bit awkward here and there :(

i highly doubt that the story would turn out that way... i mean that would be beyond stupid and whoever the screen writer is should be fired and so should the one that approved the script to be played out like that! i am holding out my hope for a decent script as it is good for now for me...

i think because most chinese dramas are made mostly for chinese audiences which don't really need to read subtitles like us, international viewers. so the music is there to add to their emotional scenes. but i agree, like you i have had a hard time following the conversations when the music is playing....

the said 3 realms because i don't think they count us, not so special human beings :)

i'm afraid to watch the next few episodes, it seems like they are going through a lot of heartbreak events and i'm not ready to cry yet 🥲
