He was never a full member of her family as you would have seen from the flashbacks and he left when she was young. The drama made it clear they were not blood related right from the start but once something gets into our heads and we can't get it out, no point watching. It is like a recent drama that I found out the actress is 20 years older that the ML in real life and older in the drama as well, I did'nt even look at it. Watch what you like. I get when things turn us off.

Today's episodes were worth the wait. And I expect more in the upcoming episodes. SOM will go on my favorite rewatch list. I don't rank by favorite dramas because each drama has its own style and emotional impact. I finished Speed and Love before this and the chemistry was there right from the start. It was so hard to move on and I still visit it. I loved it so much I almost rewatched it before starting SOM. But I have been waiting for SOM to be released and I was curious. I started rewatching SOM, but I skipped the college years for now so I watched ep 1 then went to ep 5. Both SWL and Mai Mai are outstanding in this. I saw a comment below saying the only thing saving SOM is SWL, but I did not respond. There is no point. Those of us watching SOM can see for ourselves what truly makes SOM a good drama. I am looking forward to the rest of it and will probably watch it many times over. Hopefully with 36 episodes, the wedding scenes will not be cut the way they did in Speed and Love. I had to search for those scenes on several platforms.

I think so too but there must be some hardships coming too.

I don't mind the scenery and the Changbei scenes are some of my favorites.

I read the first few chapters and they didn't seem the as close I expected.

I don't know why there was so much time spent on Yu Sen visiting the large solar panel plant. It took up so much time.

I understand differences in opinions but the way OG was targeted was terrible. If you see the negative at reviews at the top with over 100 likes that were so poorly written, it shows that the haters only wanted to move the negatives to the top. The hate came from everywhere.

He is so stupid to give up a good woman for that clingy woman and her daughter. They are leeches.
I blame the fake daughter for pretending to be the real daughter.
