I also rewatched the hospital scene from ep 2 when sat by her bedside and even cautioned the nurse to be gentle. He is not a evil person. I like him.

He regretted it. At this point he wanted her back. Do you think he used this as a way to keep her close to him? Everything he said at the dinner with Mr. and Mrs. B was the truth and not an act. I moved on from ep 14 quickly because I was convinced he always loved. People make mistakes. And people have fears that leads them to make the wrong decisions. He has always looked out for her. It was easy for me to believe he loved her.

I am rewatching it right now, focusing on every word and symbol. For one thing, he thinks she was after his wealth and status and doesn't believe she really loves him. He wants to keep things the way they were because he likes to be in control. If you noticed, he seemed to pull away from her after she got slashed with the knife, trying to save him. Even though he was sincerely concerned for her, he didn't go home to pamper her the way I thought he would. Instead, he stayed with Chen Chen and didn't answer her call. It seemed to me that he was fighting his feelings for her. He overestimated himself, thinking that she would never leave him because of all he could give her. When she did, he realized how much she meant to him. Regardless of what he said, he always loved her.

Some drama viewers can be unforgiving. They only see on thing and nothing else. If they watched closely, he always had a gentle touch. In ep 2 he told the nurse to be gentle and Xu Yan was not awake at the time. It was not fake.

I am rewatching it right now on Wetv. It has captivated me even though I have already seen it.

I am on 6 but I have already rewatched the episodes as they were airing. It is good to start from the beginning to get the full effect.

It was so beautiful the way it all came together. I am rewatching now and the details make more sense on a second or third watch.

When I watched earlier episodes, I am not familiar with them. I always rewatch the dramas I love especially when they have recurring themes. Love's Ambition is full of symbolism.

Somehow I always miss details in the first few episdoes on my first watch. I felt the part where he quoted her article so much more when I watched it again. I don't know why but my heart just felt full😍I am sure it is because I am so much more familiar with the leads.

I think he was fooling himself to think he could control his feelings for her. As I rewatch, I like him even more. I loved when he quoted her article. That was such an intimate moment.

Which episode are you on? I think she wanted him to be more open with her, and since he didn't tell her about the 3 month trial, she had doubts. He rejected her love in ep 14 and told her he could never love her, so the trust takes time.

I rewatched certain scenes and episodes as they were airing. And here I am watching again from the start and still feeling so captivated as if it was the first time watching.
Nobody is going to convince me that Haoming didn't have feelings for Xu Yan when they met and before the breakup. And I believe Xu Yan when she said she loved him from the start. I would have fallen in love with him too. He was so attractive the way he knew who she was and even quoted her when he met her. I will always love the way he was so sensitive to her needs. That AC scene will never get old and the way he took care of her in the hospital after she fainted. I know he started caring for her. And if anyone thinks differently, that okay. Just don't bother telling me. Just leave me be 😂
