Some sincerely didn't like JQX, and some didn't like the story and its direction. I can understand it is not for everyone. But after days of having the same people who keep coming back to bash it in one form or another, it gets tiring. There are some who seem to mock saying they watched it and loved it when I have seen the same people make derogatory remarks. The hypocrisy. I will not respond to anyone who mocks the drama or bashes it spitefully. And if I am not sure, I ignore it also.

First of all, let me say I appreciate your honest opinion. I have drama buddies who did not like JQX because of reasons you said. I will say the same I said to them and know I am not arguing with you. I am just sharing. I didn't feel he was jerk. I felt his pain so in ep 15 when he told her he was staying because I could see he did not want to leave her. She was the best thing in his life. When I rewatched, I noticed it was Ying Tao who said something along the lines of "you are staying, right?" And there was such hope in her voice. He paused for a moment as if he was going to say something but he smiled and said he was staying and told her all his dreams of the future. Maybe it was as much for her as for him to have this moment of happiness. Maybe he wanted to believe it. I think his mind was already in a place where he didn't think he was worthy if he didn't have something perfect to offer. I can understand his mind because all his life his mother didn't even recognize him being Jiang Qiaoxi. He was a substitute son who only deserved "love" if he was exceptional. Therefore, from my pov, I could not see what he did as selfish. I just thought of how he must have felt growing up and now as with something bad going on in his life he went right back into the mind his mother mentally abused him into.
I loved ep 21 also. And 23 😂 And ep 24. But I wish it had been a few more episodes because I wanted to see more of the friends and family.

I have never felt so hopeful for a second couple. Wu Sheng who was the actor for Yu Qiao stood out. He has male lead qualities.

The thing is, nobody has even been responding to the negative comments. I scroll by because if they don't like it they don't like it. If I see someone being genuine, I might respond but most times I am either not sure or they are obviously being deliberate. How many times have we read the comments about screentime. Actually there was a response to them that I found interesting. I didn't now the actor who played Yu Qiao is a new artist. I noticed he stood out even if he didn't have that many scenes. I kept thinking is going to be the ML in a drama one day.

I love Our Generation! I slowed down the speed so I could watch carefully. I rewatched scenes to make sure I didn't miss anything as there is emotional depth in OG. I love it! The acting was outstanding. The dialogues were outstanding. I hope it gets recognition . I hope Zhang Ling gets recognition for his emotional scenes. I didn't need the drama to show me details of what went on between Qiaoxi and his mother. I could see from emotions how it affected his mental state. I was not lost and I felt connected. If others did not, then it is what it is.

I don't know what was the purpose of the pointing out the number of comments. But if they want to compare, OG has close to 10,000 and it is not even a month since it was released. The user gave TBT a 10 so lets use it for comparison sake. TBT has 14,000 and it was released in February. The First Frost has 36,000 and it was released in February also. I don't see the point. of that user's comment. It is as if she is grasping for straws or anything she can to prove OG is a flop. I am not even discussing whether it is or not as I don't know the numbers in China. I find it hard to believe it is a flop but whatever it is, it is. Some of us love it! Why does this make this user so hostile?

I have drama friends who don't like OG overall or something in particular. I know not everyone likes it, and I am fine with that. My drama friends don't come in here to constantly bash OG. I understand they don't like it. It is just a drama. We don't have to like everything But those who keep coming back using new accounts or some other account are another matter. You can take a guess at their purpose.

There are multiple account users bashing OG. New accounts are saying the same thing over and over again. Copy and paste comments. There is one just made today. Please be aware that they want you to respond. Sometimes it is best to ignore.

I think there was a post here last week saying it was going to tv. I assume from this data it started already.

When did Our Generation go to tv? This is the August 4th ratings.

That was when so many new dramas were released.

Now I have to see if I can recognize them. I have been watching those too😂

I traveled for most of July so I didn't have time 😂 And I can't seem to move on from OG.

I am behind on the new dramas. OG is the only drama I have been into since TFF.

I am ignoring them.
