To each their own, of course. I’m glad you’re enjoying the drama. 😊
I am not saying I disagree with you. There are parts such as when she was in the hospital acting terrified about the cut on her feet that I felt it was too much but there are many parts I laughed. As I said, I am treating it as a comedy. I think Netflix might have released a few more episodes today. I am dreading the FL's mother scene I saw in the previews.
Everything you wrote about the female character and Esther Yu cemented my decision of NOT watching this drama.…
I enjoyed Romance of the Little Forest. The FL had too careers and I think Esther was great playing both parts. She does comedy well. I didn't finish Moonlight which was the first drama of Esther that I watched, but since then I came to love watching. I am enjoying Ski Into Love as a comedy. There are some parts that should have been toned down a bit but Esther and those turtle pads trying to snowboard is hilarious.
I agree they should have made Esther's character less childish but I have to say, I am enjoying this because it makes me laugh. I love seeing the way the ML looks at the FL in adoration because he finds her cute but he also sees her passion for her profession and the fact that she is kind and stands up for people if she thinks they are being bullied. I believe her voice is naturally childlike but she can temper it when she wants and it was a bit exaggerated in SIL. I still have 9 more episodes to go, but I the drama for what it is.
