Thank you for your review! I have only seen 12 episodes and eagerly awaiting for the rest on Netflix. I saw the low rating but I am glad I decided to try it. It is great to laugh. Esther's performance is outstanding. She does comedy so well. Weizhi is such a cute character but I see a strong backbone. She refused to let her assistant take the fall for her. Shanchong sees her strength. I love these two together.

I don't know anything about this. I started watching this a few days ago and waiting for more episodes on Netflix. Perhaps the earlier comments would explain it. I just know I am having fun watching it so I am not going to be picky. i am curious though as to what was cut. Was it whole episodes or scenes here and there to reduce the number of episodes?

If you noticed the characters of SZ and Jiaxu were on the bland side in TFF. It is my opinion that it is what they had to do because the spirit of the main leads from HL cannot be replicated. Another reason could be that they wanted them in the background. Go Go Squid 2 had both Li Xian and Yang Zi as cameo appearances which was nice but I can understand the many reasons why it didn't work this way in TFF. Either way. it is fine because all we have to do is watch HL again.

I am usually one who likes to see things from the character's pov. I am a forgiving viewer, but this time, I wanted the worse for the mother. There is no redemption for a mother who put herself first when her daughter cries for help. The mother drove a BMW but left her daughter to live in a place where she basically slept in a storage room. She didn't stay with her daughter when she was assaulted. There is no redemption for her selfishness. But I can appreciate you trying to show her grace.
On a break from TFF and rewatching. EP 7 and the brother/sister scene near the end. Lusi is soooo good!
You are the second person to mention watching the big brother scene. It took me a long time to watch anything else after TFF, but I got the urge to see Sang Zhi from HL with her ge ge. I loved those first few episodes as my rewatch this week. The sports day episode was hilarious too when Sang Yan tried to carry Sang Zhi on his back.

That is what I am saying. Usually it goes up. I was falling alseep last night when I went to check that I didn't miss any and the ratings for each episode seemed lower that it should be especially with a drama with a rating of 9.

I believe the book to HL was published before the book for TFF.
