I am on 6th episode and this feels like a perfect drama. I have not read your review entirely due to spoilers.…
Thank you reading! When I write a review, I try to stay with the feel and themes of the drama but there are times I need to pull from the events for support. I marked one section that deals with ep 24 as a spoiler. I felt I needed to address that part of the drama as there was some negative feedback from viewers. I hope you enjoy and love TFF as much as I do π
I watched the first 7 last week and intended to pick it up last weekend but didn't get to. I will tonight. I love ZLH but having a hard time moving on from TFF and Sang Yan/BJT!
Sang Yan "Youβre looking for a job?" / "The jobs are looking for me." π€£ I love Sang Yan! Great review and I love that you discussed the HK stage. I made my comments in my review and could have said more but I tried to keep it short π€£ Thank you for time you put into this. Awesome!
kinda bothers me that the cast isn't the same of hidden love, I think it still would be a success if it were a…
In HL he is Sang Yan through his mei mei's eyes. You can still see the sibling vibe in TFF. As I watched the first couple episodes of HL again last night, I enjoyed them all over again. I feel Sang Zhi was downplayed in TFF for reasons I don't really know but that is okay because I can always watch her in HL. They made Sang Zhi and Jiaxu so bland.
As for Sang Yan in TFF....I cannot imagine a more perfect Sang Yan than Bai Jing Ting! I have loved him since I saw him and then there was no return after what I saw him do for YiFan at the end of ep 2. All through TFF he was perfect. I cannot find anything I didn't like about BJT as Sang Yan here.
I missed them in TFF so I went to watch them in HL. I am glad I forgot some parts of it. I had to laugh when Sang Zhi pulled the lollipop out of Sang Yan's mouth. Of course, not to say I didn't love BJT as Sang Yan in TFF. I can't even get him out of my mind! But I feel they downplayed Sang Zhi in TFF and made her as bland as possible which is fine because I can just go to HL to see Luis as Sang zhi
I think it is the emotional depth that makes it so good. It is not dark or melodramatic because of the happy and hopeful overtones. You are going to love the ending which stresses across the last 4 episodes.
This feel like darker version of Hidden Love which I wouldn't mind if it wasn't that slow, I'm on ep 5 and nothing…
The beauty is in the significant moments. Watch the expressions on Sang Yan's face. Watch the events in the flashbacks. They show you how they were in high school, the painful separation, and who he never gave up. Everything he did, he did for her. I didn't have any trouble getting into this. The last scene in ep 2 made me love Sang Yan so much I wanted to cry for the way he wanted to protect Yi Fan. If you don't feel it by now, maybe you should take a break and come back. Start over because the only part of this that I didn't feel was crucial was the grandpa side story. Every thing else came together so beautifully.
I died when I first noticed it. That scene was already so sweet so to see him cry at her saying she wants to live…
I almost feel satisfied after my last watch. I have managed to revisit HL because I didn't feel satisfied with the bland depiction of Sang Zhi in TFF. It is keep in gme busy now as I forgot some of the details. Sang Yan loves his mei mei but they way they bicker is so funny.

I don't know if I should watch it again for awhile π€£ I keep saying this is the last time. But Netflix releases ep 32 on the 18th and I need to watch it on the big screen so I am going to watch ep 32 again. Then I know I am going to want to watch a few more scenes. This is a masterpiece. It is not every drama I can't move on. Some I even want to just hurry up and finish. But not TFF. I have already seen every episode for at least 5 times now and some even more!
