Thank you. I keep trying to pause to read the subtitles because it goes so fast at times. I am rewatching this.

You might want to stay away from some of the comments. LOL!

Well, there are more who feel the same as you do. I watched the first day it came out and got Pride and Prejudice vibe mixed with Little Women. I thought it was fun to watch with the lively atmosphere and sisters working together. Smart FLs are a big plus for me. Chai An's cousin is too childlish for me to be interested in the second sister's story but Chai An and Kang Ning's story is fun to watch. If it shifts to the other sisters' story , I might not like it as much but we will see. All I know is that the lively atmosphere of the drama is uplifting especially as I just got done with The Blossoming Love, which I loved but I need a mental break from the angst. Imagine my surprise to come in here and see the comments about "red flag" males. Oh well, it is all in the perspective. If a drama made me feel bad, I wouldn't watch it so maybe you are right to put it on hold or drop. You can always check back to see if things changed to where it doesn't frustrate you.

I started my rewatch and I think the second sister said Chia An steps in to help. I am going back to watching later. My impression is that when he went to see what was going on in the first ep, his aunt had asked him to check on his cousin. He didn't want to do it and he scolded his cousin for his actions. My impression was that he just wanted the fighting to stop. I have never felt he looked down on women.

Who sent the gifts to the house saying Chai An's mom changed her mind? I was a bit confused when I saw that. Sometimes the scenes just jump to the next. I assume Chai An did.

It will come out somehow. One question...

He does not look down on women. With Kang Ning he put her above the women he knows. She is the only one he wants because of who she is. He admires her intelligence. I agree the kidnapping incident was not good but it was not done with the intention to hurt. My instant reaction was "Oh no! Don't prolong their fear." But this is not the first time I have seen this type of comedy. It happens in all kinds of dramas.

Oh that comb too. I was talking about the comb that broke when he kicked the ball. I am waiting for him to find out what happened when he was away getting the branch.

Exactly! And you can see his eyes light up with all her quick responses. She got his attention.

It is a comedy. I don't know why anyone would think he would deliberately want to hurt them physically. He even looked regretful that her comb broke.

I can understand the different reactions but some are way out there.

I don't know why they included that trick when they rescued the sisters. I would think just seeing them arrive would have made them happy. It didn't sit well with me but the intention was not malicious so for a light comedy such as this, I don't let it bother me. Other than that, he only competed with her for business and even helped her at times. That is what I got from his actions. It is obvious she caught his interest and he is fascinated by her. The battle of wills between them is entertaining.

I read some of the reviews. One person said that Chai An had hit Kang Ning with the ball purposely. One person called Chai An a sociopath. What is happening here?

It's comedy.

It was funny when his mother wanted him to pick a concubine and he said "..but my wife is prettier."

I just know I enjoy it.

I am going to watch this from the start again because some of comments make me feel as if I missed some parts. But one thing I think was made clear was that Fan Liang Han did not cheat on the second sister. He is childish but he didn't sleep with any of the women. I saw comments calling him a cheat. I will agree that he acts way too childish even for comical purposes but maybe we might see some change in him as he does seem to be changing a bit.

The negative comments about the men just went off on tangent. I don't find Chai An and Kang Ning boring though. I want to see more of them. I find them outsmarting each other entertaining but I hope they move on to more romantic scenes once the other couples start coming together.

Episode 8 was so funny!

I get the feeling Kang Ning will never agree to marry anyone but Chai An. They were more happy over the money they made and I wondered it that was the point rather than finding a husband. I don't think she has questionable morals. I didn't like that she didn't give Chai An a chance by at least explaining to him but this is drama to create conflicts. She did tell someone she didn't want to tell him about his mother because she didn't want to create a rift between him and his mother. It is a strong part of Chinese culture to be filial to ones parents. I am going to start over from ep 1. I am simply enjoying this.

That is the feel I got when I started watching this. It is bright and bubbly.
