It is an amazing production on many levels. When you look at what went into it including the physical efforts or the actors such as Lu Si, it is impressive. I saw a bts where Lu Si got hurt but didn't want to stop the production so she made little of it. I have come to admire her as a person and not just an actress.

TSOPG is an incredible production. It is no wonder that Lu Si got emotional during one of the events for TSOPG. She put her whole heart and soul into it.

I stopped at ep 35 of A Journey to Love. Someone told me it was an open ending and I cheated to watch a few minutes of the "open ending" and decided there is no way I can tell my brain it was an open ending. It failed. Therefore when it all started happening, I stopped watching. I put it on hold but I do not want to see them all die.

Well said! There are some dramas I have found hard to get into only because I don't understand where it is going or what is going on. But on rewatch I pick up on so much more of the first episode and love the drama. I have a few that didn't hold my interest much in the first episode but now have a special place in my heart. And there are some like PG that held my interest right away. This drama hooked me right from the start and had me on the edge of my seat. But Lu Si has a way about her that makes you want to watch. It was the same in Who Rules the World. She makes it lively and interesting.

I have already watched 16 and 17 twice today. Soooo sweet!

I am going to try to wait till more episodes are out before watching ep 18 because I don't want to be left hanging in a bad place. "Try" is the operative word.

He makes it clear. I keep seeing all the different charts posted on certain forums by fans who don't say specifics and makes it sound as if their idol's drama is #1 of all dramas when it was only for tv dramas in Q3 or something like that. I trust Marcus' information as he explains what it means.

That is what Marcus said also. I look forward to hearing his report on Sunday but regardless, I absolutely love this drama!!! Just hoping for a HE for the leads.

As one who loves TSOPG so much, I am sure the title of the article is misleading. I will watch Esther's drama eventually but they are two different dramas and I am not fond of characters going into a game but will try it. Lu Si is amazing in TSOPG and I hope all her hard work pays off. I like several actresses for their unique talents but I have to say there is something outstanding about Lusi not only in her acting skills but what she puts into preparation and the way she gives it her all even stepping in to take the lead in production. She is amazing and I hope she continues to grow and succeed. She has many fellow actresses and actors giving her support and that says a lot for her character. Love her!

The comments here are saying the drama was downrated on Douban. I am not sure about the ranking on Douban. Perhaps someone will share.

I watched Marcus Here last night and he said both were topping the charts and predicted that TSOPG would be #1 by Sunday. This is not a put down to LGIEF as I plan on watching it also and I like Ester Yu as well. Perhaps the titles of the article should be reworded as it seem to pit one drama against the other but is it incorrect in saying LGIEF is doing better domestically? I don't know what the numbers are. There are way too many charts, but Marcus uses Vlinkage.

The person who wrote the article only has Kdramas on her watchlist.

In any event, I plan on watching both. I started TSOPG first and love it. I will give LGIEF a try after. I don't understand why people must insult Lu Si or Esther Yu. The comments under the article are unnecessary.
