Now that you finished with TPR, how did you feel about PeiRong?

Thank you! It is. unfortunate that people let the negative comments get to them. I have never seen a forum with so much hate against a character. I felt Zhang Ling He did an amazing job in his portrayal of PWX, but unfortunately too many focused on the screentime given to the sml rather than praise ZLH's performance. When I say, this is the drama that made me love ZLH more, some get offended.

It depends on how you view it. I loved PeiRong . They have such a unique "old married" couple chemistry that I found heartwarming to watch. Li Rong only loves PWX. She has special feelings for SRQ because she knew him since a child and likes his viewpoints on the good of the common people. It is not a love triangle in my eyes. I was convinced from the start that they only loved each other. Once she found out it was SRQ who killed her, she saw him as her source of finding out who was behind her death. But it is up to you.

Also, the misunderstanding between LR and PWX is cleared up in ep 11 but it will take her some time to fully admit she loves him. With LR, you need to view her actions and the way she shows her love for PWX.

A strong female lead is a big positive for me.

The directors also like to take a happy ending from the novel and turn it into an open ending. I think they must all be competing for most creative final episode awards. It is rather frustrating. Then they give us bonus episodes with alternate type endings.

It was clear right from the start that LR and PWX loved each other. The pain in their eyes thinking one killed the other told me their feelings for each other went deep. I loved this couple.

It is not true. Both the ML and the FL went toward the fire. And before that she didn't even help him when blood gurgled from his stomach. I felt sorry for SRQ in a sense because of what happened in his life and the fact that he had choices and didn't change to improve his life. I agree with the critics that there was too much time given to SRQ in the final episode but I felt too connected with the leads to see it any way other than the director's attempt at dramatics. I read one review that said this has only 15% romance. But I can't wait to see this cuddling? Did you see The Princess Royal. The ML is so loving in it and there is a cuddle scene.

I watched 2 episodes already. I had to laugh when I read your comment that the ML looks manly because one issue that I had with him in previous dramas is that he didn't have that look. But he certainly does look "manly" in this.

I am all caught up. I am feeling their chemistry so much more in ep 13. They have to let her find out asap.

I have one more episode to watch and really enjoying this one also. I just wish she would find out that they are not siblings.

I have been waiting for them to find out so they can start their romance.

Was it revealed in ep 8 that they were not siblings? I watched ep 8 but I dozed off because I was tired not bored. I might have missed it. I saw where he said she was not part of the family and the drunk sister piped in to say she was the 7th sister.

They are fun to watch. I also liked the team sprit and the brotherhood. Xu Kai's character as captain was admirable. He looked out for each of them. It was my first drama with him. Then I watched AMA, and liked him there too. I liked him in Best Choice Ever. I think it was the only drama of his this year that I watched fully. I liked Sword and Fairy till the plot became too depressing. He and Esther Yu were adorable together.

Anyone who thinks a drama would have real siblings in a romance relationship is crazy..

You can always give ABAY a try. If you like the actress you might like it. Even though there are many kiss scenes, she looks like she is going through the motions. The drama lacked emotional build-up. It was a combination of things for me including the visual aspects. The FL is poorly styled. Visuals count for me to make it believable. Usually, when a ML tells the FL she looks gorgeous it makes me smile. In ABAY, I didn't find it believable. I enjoy her in comedy and family relationship-type dramas but not romance.

I loved Rising With the Wind. The business aspect was interesting because the FL was smart and confident. She took charge. The actress in RWTW also has a strong presence to carry it off.
