I know it was hard to watch Li Xun push Zhu Yun away but even then we knew he loved her deeply. He didn't want…
Exactly. Some called her weak but I found her strong. She didn't lie to herself. She loved him and wasn't afraid to admit it to herself regardless of the pain she went through. She believed in him.
I am dreading the ending of AJTL. I avoided it and then decided to try it out and ended up enjoying the characters.…
The characters were all so distinct. I love the brotherhood. I will keep watching for now. I wish the directors would know viewers such as myself do not like these open endings. Thank you for sharing.

I hope you will watch L&P again. I promise you will pick up on more details. The first time I watched, I was confused by the first episode and wanted to rush along to see where this drama was going. Now I take my time watching ep 1 because now I get it. Pay close attention to that yearning look on Li Xun's face when she saw Zhu Yun sitting in the cafe. Notice he took a step forward as if he feet moved on their own. Then he stopped when her friend arrived. You can see him mentally shaking his head to stop and walk away. His heart wants him to go to her. But he is convinced she is better off without him. But no matter how he acted as if he didn't want to be with her, he was always there when she needed him. He will never allow anyone to hurt Zhu Yun. This is why some who watched L&P feel there was never really a break up because it is as if they have never really separated from each other. Not in their hearts.
I just hope Liu Yu Ning get a happy ending in this one. He has not had a good ending in any of the costume series…
I am dreading the ending of AJTL. I avoided it and then decided to try it out and ended up enjoying the characters. They make it so much fun that I would never have known about the ending if I had not heard from others. But they told me it is an open ending.
They make no sense lol. Like why wouldn't the ml promote a drama he spend months filming??? Anyway can't wait…
I know about the ending which is why I am late watching it. But I was told it is an open ending. I can't seem to stop watching it though. I will just lie to myself about the ending😂

I am looking forward to TSOPG also especially as I have come to l like Liu Yu Ning in AJTL. I am only on ep 12 right now. The more I watch him, is the more attractive he becomes. He has a certain charm and with Lusi I bet they will make great chemistry. Lu Si is one of the best with chemistry.
Oh wow, the trolls crawled out of their caves and in full force today! @Tina Summer and @sweetenergy, did you…
I couldn't even read that post. It didn't make sense. The user mentioned Brocade Odyssey doing much better than The Story of Pearl Girl. Why come here and say that? If they want to see that drama, just stick with it. All I know is, I enjoy Lusi's dramas. I love watching her. She is such a versatile actress. She can act serious role with a passion, and turn around and act cute and make it adorable and beautiful.
Totally agree on ep40. The story's underlying conflict was always between LR+PWX vs SRQ, so naturally, the director/writer/producer…
SRQ's farewell and closure was too long. I wish these directors would realize people want to see more of a happy ending with a grand wedding and kids. But even as I was disappointed in not seeing more of PeiRong, I was thrilled with the happy ending and didn't let it take away from my love for this couple. I enjoyed them. The directors seem to want to sacrifice the viewers happy ending for their preference for creative endings. Those open endings are so disappointing. I am watching A Journey to Love and love the characters and the vibe even though it has an open ending. I put it off for a long while but now I am watching and glad I decide to give it a try. I only wish it has more of a happy ending. And thank goodness TPR does!
I finished watching TPR today and i really enjoyed watching this drama 😭❤️Although I took a long time to…
PWX was awesome in ep 39 and 40. I loved him taking power from his uncle. He had purpose and needed to have the manpower to go in and save LR. He made plans before he went in to rescue LR and was so brave marching up those stares. I loved him in this! It is too bad that those who complained about SRQ's screentime at the end didn't give ZLH credit for his performance. It is too bad that too many were focused on hating SRQ's screen presence and didn't give ZLH any support or his amazing performance in TPR. He managed to encompass all aspects of PWX's character that made me love PWX. By the way, PWX was the #1 ranking character for weeks.
I don't know how the ending of the novel was but the scene at where Su rongqing set up the fire and Li Rong wanted…
I pitied him too. He looked as if he really loved LR and she didn't even try to help him stop the flow of blood. As for the fire, both PWX and LR stepped toward the fire. I didn't look at it as if LR was willing to risk her life for him. I think the director was just going for drama and made a big to do about it.
Don't come for me... but I feel like the princess's storyline with Su Rong is way more interesting than with Pei…
I felt sorry of SRQ. I don't think he was a bad person but he didn't change. He was stuck on the same the path which he thought was the best. But LR didn't love him and PWX was not going to step aside this time.
Butterflies commonly represent souls/spirits of the dead. At the very start of the opening, there's one main butterfly…
Excellent insight! I am going to have to watch for that on my next rewatch. Thank you for sharing. Post if you see anyone. I love picking up on details on multiple watches. It is as if the producer is playing a game with us. In Amidst a Snowstorm of Love I picked up some clues to things that happened that the producer probably didn't want to make blatantly obvious.
