I think you are right. She is an amazing actress. I am looking forward to more of her. And hopefully with the best actors. I love that they put Wu Lei and ZLH with JIn Mai. Many times they put the top younger actors with older more experienced actresses. The Double worked well but I can't say the same for others. I hoping for some better cp for Xu Kai. I would love to see Xu Kai with JIn Mai. But wait..I had to switch out of LeiMai mode and now just want to savor NiuMai mode! I don't even know if I got this right. What do we call ZLH and JIn Mai?😂
The Double was amazing because of the FL's performance and also the ML's charisma. I don't know if I would have loved it as much if not for him.
With The Royal Princess, I am seeing a love between the leads that was not The Double in this sense. I am touched by PWX's unconditional love. He understands LR. And he loves her for who she is. But he wants her to share her thoughts with him this time around. She will eventually come to know of all the people around her, he is the only person she can trust.
