YAMG is not too much gaming. The couple would meet so that the ML could help the FL improve her gaming skills since she sponsored a gaming company and her manager or someone said she could play well. That was the reason for them to meet again. It is really about how them grew to love each as she accepted him for who he was while others tried to get him to pursue other career options that would make him more money. As a highly intelligent man, he could have been richer but he chose to follow a path in service to his country as a space engineer or something like that. I loved the relationship between the leads.

I loved BEITD. I just don't know why the screen writer would change the ending of the book to a ending that upset so many. The ending is the reason the rating dropped. It is the reason I am not sure I will watch again. But I still kept the rating of 10 because of the acting and everything else.

Are you say at the end of the drama she will leave him or at the end of the latest episode? I have only watched episode 1.

I was looking for Jing Boran in another romance. He is the reason I watched RH. He added that extra something. Did you watch him in the Love 020 movie?

Maybe it is the winter theme that makes this similar. The romance was tepid compared to AASOL. Jin Mai is so much more believable in romance roles than the actress in RH. But it is good you found another drama you like as much as AASOL.

Really? Looking at the numbers here there are only about 13000 watchers. I am not sure which other dramas are IQiyi. I know The Story of Kunning Palace was on IQiyi and also My Journey to You…Mysterious Lotus Caseload. These are all top dramas.

His STANCE is one of : stay out of my orbit .. I have things on my mind and I agenda to fulfil in my quest for this FUTURE VISION of building a company that would HELP CANCER patients get the drugs and treatment that is the latest in the world .. by creating a system for INFORMATION sharing ...

"A lot of people did not understand the relationship between the leads in L&P. You remember that scene where the prof compares Li Xun to the ‘Mirror of Erised’ from Harry Potter. That is what he really was for Zhu Yun - she found her identity and strength through him otherwise she would have led the life of a puppet - her mom being the puppeteer. That relationship was far from toxic- yeah they went through some really bad stuff but they were there for each other. I found Li Xun’s character to be very pitiable and someone who had gone through so much in life. And he really took care of the people he liked . And everyone tried to help him in the end- if he were toxic or a narcissist- thAt would not have happened. And what support characters are these? - Gao, Xu Lina, Fang or Zhu Yun’s toxic /abusive mother (parents). This drama was about the strong leads and their story - not the side characters. The leads’ relationship was not at all toxic. The FL was a very strong woman who knew what she wanted and went after it. The ML respected her for who she was. This was a power couple on the making. A relationship is not just kisses and roses- and what they went through had so many external factors attached to it- so you cannot blame either of them. I have defended this drama one more time here. It’s one of my all time favorites - the best modern C- drama I have watched . So nuanced and deep!"

It is too bad you feel this way. I know he sacrificed his love for her for justice but he never stopped loving her. In fact, it was because of his love for her that he got dragged into this. Had he just stuck to his goals and not cared that she wanted that other guy to lose the competition, the chain of effects that led to his sister's death would never have happened. And even after he spent 3 years in prison, he never blamed her. Even when his prison mate tried to blame her for what happened to Li Xun, he stopped him from saying anything because he didn't want her to feel guilt.

There is a scene in the second half where he gives her an umbrella so she could go home in the rain. Even though he seemed to not care about reuniting with her, there is no denying how much he loved her and I believe deep down she knew that. She knew him so well she went on with what she had to do as she waited patiently for him. I would say more but I know you can't help your reactions.

I have yet to find anything quite like L&P. It is the chemistry between the leads that make it so good. However, I watched another drama called Where the Wild Ones Go that I liked but nothing as much as L&P.

I am a big Jing Yi fan. She is so natural with her ML. When she hugs, she hugs. There are some actresses who cannot seem to look comfortable in intimate scenes but I love the way Jing Yi goes right up to her guy's face and looks him right in the eyes. There is another actress I have come to love who is also natural. If you have watched Amidst a Snowstorm of Love you will know her. Mai Mai reminds me so much of Jing Yi. I am waiting for Jing Yi's movie " I Miss You" to become available here. Have you seen Bright Eyes in the Dark? Jing Yi was amazing in it but I will warn you that you might not like the ending. If you stop at 15 mins before it ends you will be fine.

Oh, I just checked your watchlist and I see that you watched Bright Eyes in the Dark and gave it the same rating I did. Even though the ending was not what I expected based on the book, I still loved it. The couple was so beautiful.

The part where you said "female lead knows him in and out and she was just there for him...and he absolutely adores her" is exactly what I keep saying. I have watched this 3 times since its release and yes I was I was so mad when Li Xun sacrificed his love for justice but I will always give L&P a 10 for the way they loved each other and made it so hard for me to move on. I will tell you, the last time I watched it, I told myself to skip ep 23 because that is the part that was so painful. But for some reason, I have to watch because the emotions were so beautiful see. No matter what he said, I knew he loved her deeply. I was mad at him for losing all he worked for because that Old Gao was a weak person. I am glad you loved it. There is nothing quite like L&P.
