I am going to wait until someone else watches this first and let's us know if is a happy ending. But I am so drawn to this movie. Jingyi and Tan Jianci!
I rate 7.5/10...just so so. Plain and boring drama.
Flower of Evil is amazing. I also watched Familiar Wife. It was good. Her Private Life and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim I liked. I really enjoyed WWWSK but when I went to rewatch it, I found myself fast forwarding. One Kdrama I rewatched recently was Cunning Single Lady. I found the ML so endearing. He was a successful CEO but then on the other hand he was still the nerd who fell in love with his wife. For me there is an interesting plot in AASOL. I was interested in seeing LYY make a comeback. I wanted to see Yin Guo compete and win. I love the way she was so fearless in her sport but innocent and shy in her relationship. I loved bromance between the ML , MXD, and JY. I wish there were more episodes so we could have seen more of MXD and Lin LIn. I started over as soon as I finished all 30 episodes and rewatched the episodes while. waited for more to be released. Any drama that makes me want to watch it over and over again is a 10 for me.
On rewatch I pick up on more details. The simplest things in AASOL has meaning. Jin Mai is such a natural actress. I absolutely love this drama since the first minute of episode 1. Not a single boring moment. But I understand if it not for you.
Thank you so much for the honor. In this world where logic, truth and justice are giving way to fake news, it's…
The way the fans of other dramas like to downrate a drama just because they feel some form of jealousy is something I found so hard to believe but it is happening. And the thing is they cry about people downrating the dramas with their favorite actors and then they turn around and do the same to others.
Do you really think they would accept playing a secondary role only in your head?
I watched HL and WIFTY as the same time. WIFTY was just to fill the time in between and i fast forward. I was shocked to see WIFTY with the same rating as HL but I guess people have different taste. I am hoping Lusi plays Sang Zhi and I definitely do not want the FL from WIFTY. It was be so bad for me.
Do you really think they would accept playing a secondary role only in your head?
I think they would because it is their characters from HL. It is just like visiting with family. In Go Go Squid 2, the ml and fl who was Yang Zi, were there as second leads.

first shock was victor ma not being sang yan anymore which I am still processing but changing sang zhi and duan…
Is the FL from WIFTY going to play Sang Zhi? Please say no. I know she is well loved by some but I can't watch her as Sang Zhi. I will just skip this and rewatch HL.
Trust me when I tell you, they did in ep 15. LOL! Did you notice his text message to her when he thanked her for trusting her life to him even though he doesn't have anything? Did you notice he was in the passenger seat and she was sitting in the driver's seat after the scene where he took her hand and she looked at him as if what's this?
LOL! When I first saw ep 15, I asked myself did they especially with all the Titanic allusions. Then I read the book on that part and oh yes they did! Then every time I watched it, I saw more. It is as if the director hid all these hints all over the place. Then you will see later what I mean. Let me know when you get to a later episode that ties it all in. Keep watching!
Also, there was a part that is not explained as when she told him to take out the Red Fish tag on her name on his Wechat That is because she changed her name on Wechat and he would not be able to see it if he tags her name. When he took out the Red Fish he saw her name was now Lin Guo which means Forest Fruit or as they translated on Viki, "Fruit in the Forest." Remember she asked him if her name was too long?

Okay. Sometimes I like them like this. Another of my top favorite is Lighter and Princess which is more intense. But there is still a sizzling chemistry. As for the impression do you mean the love at first sight and the way they fell in love with him pursuing her. Not to get too personal but I had this same experience with my one and only. For me it is relatable and brings back memories of feelings. I can even relate to Yin Guo's cautiousness and the way she would think through the things he did. For example that coffee emoji had her thinking but if you noticed she asked him to send that coffee emoji again when she was leaving to gto back to China. It means more than seems.

If a drama bores me, I just stop watching and find something else. I am surprised you finished it because it had the same vibe throughout. It was mix of love, brotherhood, sportsmanship which I thought was great they graciously accepted losses and wins. I watched it several times especially my favorite scenes. But I understand it is not for you.
Found this comment on another drama page and it was so well said I have to copy it here.
"LOGICALLY speaking, one shouldn't review a drama she hasn't fully watched (by skippimg scenes or dropping it) and at least tried to understand. Otherwise, it's like a judge who makes a decision without considering all known information about a case. "
This is so true in your case because you said there is not snooker or anything but there is! You didn't watch!

I said something along these lines in another discussion group and was told people have the right to rate a drama they do not like even if they only watched a few episodes. I love that word in bold "LOGICALLY." I thought my comment was clear that it was logical to not rate a whole drama if you don't plan on watching the rest of it. But I guess people have rights to not be logical....LOL!
Pay close attention to episode 15. There is more to it than appear on the surface. This drama has hidden meanings. Even the ball roll means something. And the word "something" became a code word for something! LOL! Scroll way down to find a conversation of "Did they or didn't they."
