Good to know. I plan on watching. I am hoping Sword and Fairy will have a great ending because right now it is so beautiful to see the main couple together.

I wish they would stop. In Bright Eyes in the Dark which I loved, I thought it was going to be a happy ending especially as the novel had one. But no...it was an open ending or some think it was not. People gave it a low rating because of this. I still kept my rating of 10 because the relationship was so beautiful.

I am still watching Sword and Fairy. I am planning on watching this next but wanted to see if what they say about all Chinese Paladin dramas ending sad.

Which episode are you up to now?

I make sure to rate each episode and yet it doesn't budge from 7.8. I think the low raters are doing the same.

I just watch for enjoyment. I don't think about the promotions or which month it should be aired or which other dramas are showing at the same time. But I can see the fan wars exist so it is not that simple out there.

I have not watched ep 18 yet. Viki stopped at 12 for me yesterday and I moved to youtube. I will probably get to 18 or beyond tonight.

I read a comment further down that said she was raped by an old guy. Even if it is not shown, it is still a storyline I rather not watch. Maybe the person assumed it was rape.

I watched up the ep 24. He is playing two characters and you can see the emotions from his expressions. He did an amazing job with those two characters because you can feel they are two different people but somehow connected. The story is unfolding and there is still some mystery. Do a search on the rain scene and you will see an amazing performance by both leads. It was for me anyway. I understand we all have different reactions and that is okay.

At least this is a 8.1. Sword and Fairy started out lower and just got up to 7.8 which is a shame. It is so good and the actors are amazing.. The anti-fans went to work on day 1 with ratings of 1 and negative reviews.

But was the FL a rape victim? I read a comment below and that is not what I want to see. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.

ABAY has been coming up in Instagram for months now. The fact that Sword and Fairy came out first and Xu Kai is amazing in it, should contribute to promoting ABAY. For me as a Xu Kai fan, promotions wouldn't make a difference to me. I love watching him. But this doesn't mean I watch all his dramas.

I will prepare myself for ep 12 and beyond!
