I have been feeling the connection since around ep 7 or 8. It is the way he treats her and she also admires him. He treats her differently from the other star members. Look at the way he fixes her belt. The time someone asked him why he was nervous as they had never seen him nervous. But he was worried about Nan Chu during one of the tests she had to do. I don't remember what it was. He is tough as the leader but he is also so tender where she is concerned. Look at his face when she speaks. He likes her. Look at the way he is always defending her and check out her smile when he does. Look at her when she daydreamed about him during the medical demonstration. I am rewatching from the beginning but at first it didn't grab my attention. I get that when the scenes are chaotic but now I know the characters , I found it revealing and meaningful. I think the reason some dropped it is because at first watch it seemed more of commercial for firefighters with nothing much between the leads. On second watch, I can understand the producers angle much more and appreciate it.

I loved FOMH and I also like Bright Eyes in the Dark. The first episode might not grab your attention right away, but the chemistry between the leads is turning out to be my cup of tea so to speak and the messages in the show are quite significant and heart warming.

FOMH is a second chance love and Bright Eyes in the Dark is similar to A Date withe Future in that the FL was saved by the ML when they were younger. The chemistry between the leads in both FOMH and Bright Eyes in the Dark are both great from what I can see so far in this new drama. Just watch both and see for yourself which you prefer. I am loving this one as much as FOMH.
I am rewatching episode 1 which I didn't find interesting on the first watch. Now that I know more about the characters, I am rewatching so I don't miss anything and I am actually touched at the aspects of the ML's character shown here. Sometimes when I don't know the story or the characters, it takes a while to get into a show. I can see the purpose of episode 1 now and appreciate the angle the producer used to begin this drama.
