i seriously believe that the people who are already hating on this (mind u only 4 episodes have been released) are just bitter HL fans that are either mad about the fact that victor ma isn’t playing sang yan, or just want to compare HL and TFF when they are stand alones and are completely different plot wise

i understand this not being everyones cup of tea, but hating and saying that bai jing ting is kinda ugly and that the acting is bad, i simply just don’t see it ! like are we even watching the same drama?

my memory is really bad but if i remember correctly sang yan and wen yi fan end up handcuffed together by accident (i think?) and it gets pretty spicy

exactly my point!! its about portraying subtle microexpressions that showcases the internal struggles both leads are facing, but I guess some people believe good acting is only about making a big scene

people talking about the acting, are we even watching the same drama? just because they aren’t screaming or crying or overacting, suddenly it’s bad acting, when in reality the subtile acting is much harder to master, both actors have done a great job so far, the way they express with their eyes is already very impressive, the way you can see sang yans longing and yearning everytime he looks at wen yi fan, and the way we can see how wen yi fan is an emotional wreck inside, personally i think this drama is great

for me the first frost manhua was better than hidden love, as for the drama it’s too early to say, but they are very different and shouldn’t be compared

sorry but i think this will turn out to be a disappointment, orv is a really great novel/manwha and i think only an anime could truly do it justice, a live action sounds like a disaster, also the casting is...definitely... a choice ! and guns seriously?
