ofcourse he has to and I agree its DW story but he is main part and both were together in that revenge. All went out of the window with just one defeat.

he could have done it after Cuis and go for bandits. but he went defeated came back. I dont see him a meticulous planner as shown in initial episodes

The story became so routine after ep19 when YZJ came back to Yangzhou and did not go to fight bandits. this is ridiculous as he left to fight and kill them but came back without killing them. the story completely lost the essence. disappointed

Ok..,I love the actors, the setting, the costumes, the chemistry but…the progress of the plot is way too slow…
watched till ep12 and I could see same house and same people. seems like too much dragging. seems like should have trimmed at least 8 to 10 episodes length.
