So I JUST watched episode 10, and I'll post my thoughts in the spoiler tag below in case people haven't seen it…
The fact that four masked men had to resort to tazing Peace to neutralize him because Peace was beating the crap out of ALL FOUR of them is crazy work. I'm honestly disappointed in Mr. Joe not only for making his son fight his boyfriend (I wasn't necessarily disappointed as I was pissed), but the fact that he left his medication out in the open to be switched and blindly trusted his ADOPTED SONS to not be shady "children" and want to take his business from under him. I don't like Mr. Joe in the slightest, but I would've expected him to be a bit more vigilant about people who are that close to his circle that are technically not related to him. In regard to the fight between Sun and Peace, a part of me feels like they could've had slight communication during the collar and elbow lockup in the beginning of the fight. As twisted as it is, Peace wanted to protect Sun from his father. In his mind, while he may get separated from Sun, at least Sun would still be alive (which I honestly wouldn't have trusted since Mr. Joe is a terrible human being). The fact that Sun woke up immediately asking about Peace's condition just shows how much he truly loves Peace despite the fact that Peace was the one who (reluctantly) put him in the hospital to begin with. I'm both excited and nervous for the next episode since it seems as though Sun is going to find out that Peace was actually the one who was meant to kill his (Sun) dad in the alleyway.
*SIDE NOTE*
Mr. Joe, Jihoon, and Jun-ho need to die if Sun and Peace want any chance at being together. Also, I'm kinda hoping that Jack doesn't make too many appearances in the last two episodes. That character irritates me to no end.
Jun took Sorn back too quickly in my opinion. The was Sorn was moving in this episode felt manipulative AF. With such a fast "reconciliation," and only two episodes left, what more of their story really needs to be told? Sorn clearly doesn't respect when Jun attempts to set boundaries (from harassing Jun at work after Jun told him he needed space to tongue kissing him TWICE after Jun told him not to use tongue), and Jun seems to be okay with it. If there's one thing to take away from this series, it's the fact that you TEACH people how to treat you. Sorn only disrespects the boundaries Jun tries to set because Jun ALLOWS it, and from the outside looking in, I hate that for him.
This may sound a bit harsh, but am I the only one who didn't have much sympathy for what happened to Jack (Sun's brother)? He's had an extremely pretentious attitude and superiority complex since the first episode, and he's been annoying me ever since. Although I tend to skip over GL subplots that get inserted in BL series, I'm actually enjoying Cherry and Mei's budding relationship. Peace was rather bold to gift THAT "painting" to Sun. He had to know that it wouldn't be as subtle as he may have wanted it to appear to be. I was thinking that Sun may actually lose the fight against Jihoon until I saw the preview to the next episode and heard the conditions Mr. Joe had for Sun if he loses. Something tells me that his victory may irritate Mr. Joe, and Peace will ultimately be the one to take his father down to protect Sun. Overall, this is a good series that SHOULD be rated much higher than it is currently.
*SIDE NOTE*
Is episode 10 really being fast tracked? If so, where can it be watched?
I feel like since Chris is a descendant of Tony, he may have the power to either neutralize other alpha/enigma's powers or distort them in a sense; because I find it strange that Pete's mind reading powers don't seem to work on Chris. While I'm not surprised that Willy's power was time manipulation, I can't help but wonder what Tony's power is since Willy seems to be terrified of him even with the power of time manipulation (for some reason, I feel like Tony's power has to do with necromancy, but I could be wrong). It really doesn't make much sense for Tony to give one of his underlings such an OP ability without a way to neutralize it. Even with a chip in his body that could explode, Tony would have to be quick enough to activate the chip to detonate before Willy could freeze him in time. Since it seems as though Willy needs to snap his fingers in order to activate his power, whenever Babe and the others get ahold of him, they should just break all of his fingers. Although it's a bit of a slow burn, I'm actually enjoying the progression of Kenta and Kim's relationship. Kenta desperately wants to be genuinely loved, and I think sooner than later, he'll realize that Kim is the person who'll love him.
*SIDE NOTE*
North and Sonic need to start acting like adults and verbalize their feelings for one another TO one another. They could be such a cute side couple if they'd get out of their own heads respectively.
It's pretty clear that Ait was the one who drugged Thun at the request of his "boss" (which is confirmed NOT to be Coach Petch). The sad thing is that I really liked Ait with Mawin, but drugging your own teammate for whatever reason (because his sister's medical procedure was covered by a viewer of Keen's livestream if I'm remembering correctly) is next level betrayal. Based on the preview for the next episode, I'm starting to wonder if Ait went to a loan shark to get funds to pay for his sister's medical expenses prior to her surgery. I'm not too certain on how Mawin will react. As for the last five minutes of this episode (episode 7), I feel like I SHOULD'VE seen that coming since Thun gave slight clues in the previous episodes, but it's still a shock, especially for Keen. Finding out that your boyfriend's father is most likely responsible for the death of your father is A LOT to process. Hopefully Keen won't be upset with Thun for not telling him who his father is. Thinking back, that may explain why Thun wasn't too visibly angry at the fight with Typhoon being rigged. Thun probably expected his dad to pull something like that at some point.
This first episode started off strong. I wasn't too worried about chemistry since Inn and Great had good chemistry in "Wandee Goodday." While I enjoyed "Wandee Goodday" for the most part, this series feels like it's going to be significantly better based on the first episode alone. However, a part of me wants to reserve judgment until after the 8th episode for now since this IS technically a GMMTV series, and although they've proven that they are capable of producing compelling series with good pacing and acting (i.e. ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat), A LOT of GMMTV series tend to lose steam around the 8th or 9th episode (especially if it has the standard 12-episode format). Hopefully this series continues to stay strong throughout its progression.
Although this series is only four episodes in, it's rather refreshing to watch a GOOD Chinese BL series after having to suffer through the Taiwanese BLs that have been released in 2025 (I've yet to watch "Fight for You," so as of right now, I can't include that one on the list of terrible Taiwanese BLs in 2025"). It's clear that Chi Cheng is falling for Wu Suo Wei fast. I feel as though he may suspect Wu Suo Wei to be his current "girlfriend's" ex-boyfriend after learning that both her ex and Wu Suo Wei use the same skincare product. I also enjoy the friendship between Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai. Overall, I'm liking this series so far.
My ONLY critique for this series is that it's entirely too short. All four episodes could've been a singular episode. The acting and chemistry of the two leads is too strong for it not to have been explored in a longer format.
So is Tony's power necromancy or something? That would explain how he was able to come back after Kenta killed him last season, and how he was able to apparently bring Willy back from the dead. Anyway, while I understand the intention behind Charlie absorbing Jeff's power, I'm not too sure if he considered the possible effects Jeff's heightened powers may have one him considering the fact that he's also in possession of Babe's power. So far, this season is far more intense than the last season.
*SIDE NOTE*
Having Nut return to the series to play a completely different character is crazy work. While I had my issues with Way (the character), I think he should've been brought back for this season.
It almost feels as though this is also a "reset" for Tada. In the past life, despite the fact that Tada was present in Armin's life from afar, Tada and Armi had never formally met. Tada may be acting oblivious to the things Armin says about the future, but I think he may be taking this opportunity to physically be a part of Armin's life this time around. I'm still wondering how it is that Armin has yet to put two and two together and realize that Tada is his "fan" from his past life ("TD"). Hopefully, Tada continues to be a green flag character throughout the series.
It's funny u say u think Peace will bring down this dad when I think his adopted brother will.. the one thats…
If Peace believes it's the key to his freedom, I could definitely see him being pushed far enough to take his father out. He's already defied his dad by sleeping with Sun, and he's grown close enough to Mei (arguably even closer to her than Sun) to where I could see him wanting to protect both Sun and Mei. He may eventually decide to kill his dad before his dad can kill Sun and his friends and family.

I feel like Peace's dad is one step ahead of them tbh. Unlike Peace, Jihoon isn't his biological son, so I don't think there's 100% trust there. The last person he'd expect is his docile appearing (biological) son.
It's episodes like this that make me wish there were more than two main characters in this series. Although I WANT to be happy that it seems as though Jun has finally reached his breaking point with Sorn, I just know they're going to end up getting back together, and I hate that for him. I like that Jun was aware of the fact that the majority of the times they've slept together, it was mainly because SORN wanted sexual gratification. At this point, Sorn needs to have one hell of a "redemption arc" to justify his inevitable reconciliation with Jun. Otherwise, Jun and Sorn don't need to be together. The fact that Sorn has told Jun on numerous occasions (both directly AND indirectly) that he doesn't want to be with him but somehow finds the nerve to chase away any guy that so much as breathes in Jun's general direction is crazy work. He needs to either put in the work to be the boyfriend that Jun deserves or let him go completely (including the "friends with benefits" aspect that seems to mainly benefit Sorn).
*SIDE NOTE*
Sorn's painted-on facial hair to portray him as being disheveled was not it. There were other ways to make him look stressed out and disheveled.
so... how old are Jinny and Tian..? this thread is worrying
If I'm not mistaken, Tian is a year younger than Sun (which would make him about 20), and it's been stated numerous times that Jinny is underage (which in Thailand would make her about 15-16). Regardless of the characters' actual ages, Tian is technically the adult, so it's rather gross for him to attempt to pursue a minor (and that's putting it nicely).
While Aim most certainly deserved to die for everything he did to Mei (and also for the simple fact that he was entirely too smug for his own good), I can't help but feel as though his death was a bit too anticlimactic for the chaos he's caused throughout the series. I never truly cared for Madam Yao's character, but after finding out that she fumbled Sun's dad (I don't care what anyone says, that man is GORGEOUS) before orchestrating his murder, I somehow cared for her character even less. She never really felt like the "powerful drug lord" that she was supposed to be in this series to me. It was clear from the start that Peace's dad was the "final boss" so to speak even without reading the synopsis for the series. I have a feeling that Peace is ultimately going to be the one to take down his dad as a way of protecting Sun and his family, as well as free himself from having to inherit his father's "business." This series almost feels like a modern-day same-sex Thai version of "Romeo & Juliet" in the sense that Sun and Peace are two star-crossed lovers. I hope they can find a way to be together at the end of the series. Lastly, although I tend to pay less attention to GL storylines in BL series, I'm actually intrigued to see where the relationship between Mei and Cherry goes. Mei deserves happiness after everything she's been through.
*SIDE NOTE*
I noticed that Sun's half-brother didn't make a single appearance in this episode (episode 8). From what I've seen of him throughout the series thus far, he seems pretentious and a bit self-righteous in my opinion, and he shouldn't be trusted.
While I do understand Thun's anger toward Yut, I wish he was able to control his anger until after the camera was off. In the previous episode (episode 5), I couldn't help but side-eye Keen a bit due to the fact that he didn't shut down Yut's initial advances at the bar. Hopefully as the series progresses, Keen can reassure Thun in a nonsexual way (I'm not complaining about the NC scenes, but I'd like for them to talk their problems out a bit more from time to time) that he only wants to be with him. Also, I'm enjoying the chemistry of the second couple, but I'm curious to see who Ait's "boss" is that persuaded him to manipulate Keen into asking Mr. Phuwish to sponsor the boxing event (assuming it isn't Coach Petch). Based on the promotional trailer for this series, Coach Petch ended up being rather shady, so Ait's "boss" may be him. Coach Petch's relationship with Mawin is honestly sad to see. The fact that he blindly believed that Mawin had gotten into money laundering says a lot about how broken their father/son relationship really is. Lastly, I wouldn't be surprised if one of Thun's opponents were to pass out in the middle of a fight due to the consistent high dosage of whatever "performance enhancing drug" they're taking before matches.

Is it me, or does Guide kinda favor a younger Earth (from GMMTV)?
