I’m hoping they didn’t let the actor go after two episodes because they listed the actor as a guess role. Even though they per say killed the character off with dialogue, I’m hoping they would have at least kept him on eventhough he had no more dialogue but can still act through physical motion.

The environmental storyline as important as it was took away from the main storyline which made the competition seem less important and it water down the mystery of who want the prince dead and the writer rush through everything.
