i love transmigration dramas, but i hate the 'stick to the story' plot so much. it wastes so much time and for nothing. i thought they would realize it already, but they're still sticking to the 2D character narrative, and it's getting tiring. 🥲
that scene when wanyin drunkenly talks about what would happen to her if she fell in love with prince duan (dying for him) is deffo a foreshadowing for her and dan's ending 🥲
In the preview of one of those eps, I saw the fl talking about JBZ's past, but I didn’t actually see that in…
i've read a tt comment how they changed the original director (?) and therefore many scenes are missing because they were theirs, but i don't know if that's correct. they've also cut the pavilion kiss scene which actually circulated around last year and made me add this drama to my watch list lol🙈

also, remember the dinner scene they had with situ ling when ming yi left earlier and jbz went after her? he caught her before she fell and we got that slowmo scene and in the next episode they were fine, holding hands and confessing to each other. literally what happened in between was apparently crucial for their relationship progress but we didn't see that. even now, what actually happened when she went there to meet him after he found out about his master? their scene got cut off and the next thing we know they're divorcing😭😭
A couple of questions. Who falls first and any love triangles?
they both fall around the same time, but ml is more open about it while fl denies it for some time. there is a 2nd ml but he's borderline obsessed with her in an unhealthy way while she sees him only as a friend
(and even more stupid situ ling)
did anyone say anything about ending, is it a happy one?? 😭
